I used this product as surround veneer for a wood burning fireplace I installed for a customer. They made the selection of this product and it was the first time working with this brand for me. It was easy to cut with a tile saw and applied easily with poly modified stone/large tile thinset. I found that it was necessary to butter the back of the stones with thinset to get enough contact adhesion. My biggest issue with this product is that their casting process often left exposed aggregate protruding from the back of the stones that held them out. About 4 out of every 5 pieces needed work with nippers to remove the aggregate. The other issue is that some pieces were not cast perfectly and had slanted edges, requiring them to be resawn to fit properly. In the end, the product looks great but installation was slower than I had hoped because of the above issues.

Vorago Color Is Grey
I read most reviews before purchasing and a lot said the stone came darker than the picture but they never gave which stone color they purchased. I purchased the Vorago color which online looks mainly tans, creams with hints of grey throughout (looks gorgeous online); but when it arrived it was grey, completely grey, there are no light hints of color anywhere. Completely dissatisfied with the stone and worse they charge you to return it, so now I'm stuck with the stone on my house and am not happy.

DO NOT PURCHASE!
product is good but it is nowhere close to 10 square feet. They ship the product by the box and according to them one box will cover 10 square feet. That is a complete and absolute lie so do not believe the area it will cover. I spoke with customer service on the phone and got the feeling they get this complaint a lot and we're prepared for the outright lie / argument over the phone.

Like many of the other reviews here, it appeared MUCH darker in the boxes when it arrived. As in yes, some pieces looked black. We had ordered a lot.. for our floor to ceiling fireplace and also to wrap the bases of our porch columns and the porch skirt. I was sick to my stomach because they were not at all what I had pictured.
HOWEVER. We gave it a chance and I thought if it looked horrible, I could whitewash some of the darker bricks. I wanted to get the project going and we had someone scheduled to install the next day. Once on the wall, it came out just as I had pictured. Any lighter, and the room would not have had such a dramatic look. It was easy to work with and went up in a short amount of time. If you want real stone, order real stone. This worked great for our budget.

This product literally just arrived at my door. Like the other comment stated, it is NOT the right color. It's a dark gray color. NOTHING like what is pictured here AT ALL. Wow, what a big mistake! We were so excited to receive the bricks and start our project, but to our disappointment, the bricks are not what they seem to be pictured here on the website. Unfortunately, this product is not available in store to see either. Buyer beware. We are going to return our purchase TODAY at a home depot store.
