I waited nearly a year before posting my review just to see how these post lights did their duty during this period. I made a nice garden bridge for my wife and wanted to put a pair of post lights on it. After looking at many choices in-store and online I found these here at Home Depot and figured for the price I'll give them a shot. They look great, charge up very well, light up pretty much all night and I'm extremely pleased with these!

Excellent for front fences

I needed to replace the cracked stained wooden caps, that really did not like the Tennessee weather. I chose the Veranda lights because they were made of a resin plastic, which may hold up a little better. Time will tell. while installing them I found that the top part which houses the solar panel and battery, swivels really easily. That is the only con I see. I would still recommend it to a friend.

We bought 10 units of this solar post light. These post lights are designed for 4" x 4" wood posts but snuggly fit our Trex 4"x4" posts. The batteries in each unit charges during the day time and turns ON when dark and stays on for several hours. Looks great.

These are top notch quality for the price. They look amazing on our newly stained deck. They fit perfectly and I have a fairly old deck. If you’re thinking about it-take the plunge! Super easy to install and really make our deck look complete!

Used this item to place on post for my retractable hose. The Veranda has a nice bright light which is power by solar energy with a rechargeable battery. Very pleased with product and highly recommend it.

This is what my solar lights look like after 2 years of use. Also, I only have 1 of 10 lights that still work. Poor quality in my opinion and now I have to buy a whole different set of caps/solar lights that hopefully will last a lot longer.

Low cost solution to my yard. I installed these on fence posts two years ago and they’re going strong. Bought 11 more this year to go around my deck

These lights are awesome. You just slide them down on the 4x4 fence post. 2 screws to attach to post. Top comes off so you may replace the rechargeable battery when needed. I just installed them with 4 hours to charge before dark. They all (10) came on at the same time. I’m buying 10 more tomorrow for the pool area.

I’ve had these about a month and so far so good. They were easy to install and they add a very nice touch to my backyard railing. The lights are not bright but I wasn’t looking for extra bright. I just wanted a nice ambiance.

Provides a nice finished look to fence. Lights work for several nights now. I think you can pay way more for these. Budget friendly for a decorative item.lijandj

Probably the most reasonably priced solar-powered LED caps available!! They are very easy to install, however, I wish they came with an adapter to snugly fit the slightly narrower US-rated 4X4 posts. So I had to come up with my own spacers to make them fit just right. I also did not like the harsh brightness of the LED light, so I removed the lenses and sprayed them with frosted paint (see pic) to soften the light and to add a more moody feel to it. Overall very good and affordable LED post caps.

They look great on our pool deck at night.

Ive had mine for 6 years so far. i need to just replace the rechargable solar batteries but the product itself is still in great shape . Every now and then you can takr out the clear part that lets the light shine through and give it a wipe from dust and dirt and pop back in. It never yellowed. I have a hampton bay plastic solar light for the same amount of time and thats gotten yellow with the sun. The batteries are by the solar lights in home depot.Thise last long too. For the price these are grest solar lights to have. We cut our tree and it feel on my lights so with that i bought to more for the deck post. Wont by any others. Go with what you know. They look good at night dont have a pic. Not alot of light but enough to see your way.

Very good product brighter than expected as well

With a new porch comes the need for new railings. I used pressure treated wood and the 4x4's were capped with these solar powered lights. They have solar panels in the top and a battery back up that allows the sun's energy to be stored for when it gets dark. The lights come on when it gets dark by the use of a photo cell and with the proper amount of sunlight charging the battery they stay on most of the night. They look classy and with a small amount of chisling they fit the top of the 4x4. Just make sure that you place them where the sun can do its magic and recharge the battery. They screw on to the 4x4 with two screws and the top twists off to clean or check the battery. Look nice and add ambiance to the porch.

I wanted to wait a while before writing a review so I could give an honest opinion about the durability. I purchased 70 of these for my one acre fenced-in yard in January 2020. Every single light worked properly out of the box, no issues at all. Very easy and simple installation. After snow, tropical storms, all kinds of weather, they still work great! And you definitely can’t beat the price! Highly recommend!

We are very happy with these lights. They are new still but they stay on all night. They were very easy to install. I would absolutely recomendable them.

These are great solar lights . We surrounded our pool are with them and it looks so quaint at night.

I really like my solar post caps. They work great and reasonably priced.

Lights provided accent lighting just like we wanted. They emit light a few inches from the fixture. We have them on 33 posts and are waiting for more to come in.

Love them, I need 6 more.
