This product is an absolute must for all exterior work (or work that will come in contact with water), as it is 100% water proof. This product is not meant to carry any load or have heavy weight placed on it. The product can be painted on with latex paint. If you are redoing a window or door, I highly recommend this product, because it will NEVER rot and will never need to be replaced.
