Very easy to install. Highly recommend! I was uncertain about cutting and putting together but it went very smooth and took about an hour. Follow the instructions and you will have a great gate!

The packing from the Home Depot warehouse was terrible the person that packed the product on the skid should get fired very poor job

Sags because of cheap hardware. literally $5 hardware included in $150 purchase

For as expensive as this gate kit is, the screws are horrible. Why would the manufacturer think a 1” self tapping metal screw is of sufficient strength to hold the hinges to a wooden post? And good luck not stripping out the heads. Despite using the same brand of kit (Veranda) for our railings, we had to mount the gate so that it would swing out rather than in or we would not be able to screw through the metal insert inside the vinyl gate due to the top railing being in the way. Buyer beware.

The gate side supports are hollow and cause the gate to sag and have the screws provided for installation, to strip out. There is an aluminum channel top and bottom but it doesn't help when the sides offer no support. Very frustrating

The door is pretty and it seems solid enough. But the hardware to supported needs to be longer/wider. After it was put in it fell off. So we made an adjustment with some pieces of wood and it is still not lifting correctly. It works, but not what I expected.

The concerns I had were that the hinges shown on the picture each had screw 6 holes (3 on each wing) but it only 4 on that which arrived. Also, while the upper and lower vertical posts had aluminum reinforcements, the 2 end posts did not. Why this is concerning is because the hinges had to be screwed directly into the un-reinforced plastic. It seems to be holding for now, but I feel like it’s just a matter of time before they get stripped out.

When used at 48 inches it hangs down even using the supplied hinges not worth the money if i could take it back i would but once it's installed and hardware installed you can't take it back

The only problem with this gate is if you have a small animal under 8 lbs he can get through and the latch doesn't grip to close we had to file ours in order to close and stay closed.

I don't understand why I pay this much to screw these wonderful hinges into straight vinyl rather than into something substantial. It holds fine, but immediately pulls away with the stock tension. Rather bummed at how easy it is to miss metal when screwing on the striker as well, had to retry and created extra holes. It looks good, and I'm relatively good with instructions and assembly, and this was a bit of a bummer that I felt helpless on as it was a kit. Cheers.

I like and enjoy the gate but didn't give five stars because the screws holding the latch won't stay tight.

The Veranda system is stylish and well constructed. The installation process us also first class.

Was easy to put up and looks nice, Just hope it withstand the weather.

We followed the assembly directions meticulously, and my only complaint is the gate was cut too narrow… it latches but the 2” gap in the instructions is too much… 1.5” is plenty. Otherwise nice gate.
