This lite was meant to be seen, and not to light your path. It looks like a distant star when only 5 yards away. We even tried silver paint to provide more reflection. It did not help. These lights are cheap, with good reason. Get good quality lights, and don't buy these lights unless the objective is to see where posts are located.

While they don't put out much light, they were great as an accent on the new fence.

I purchased these for vinyl fencing posts and they worked out very well. I've received a lot of compliments on them. They really add a nice touch to the picket fencing. These fit OVER wooden 4 x 4s, NOT over the vinyl post sleeves (as some reviewers assumed). I've had them three months now and they provide decent lighting. These cost the same as a lot of the flat post caps and these look way more expensive. Great value!

The Lighted Post caps are a great way to add light to the perimeter of my fence, add light to the entrance of my drive way and a little sophistication to my split rail ranch fence. They look fantastic!! I'm very happy with the value, No electrical needed...

Lights are neat, decorates my new patio extension.

The price was right...the product was even better than we had hoped. Got home, tried them out and ordered more! Guess what? Still need more. We are putting them on both houses!

I have to say these solar lights put the finishing touch on our new deck. I love the price and the look. Since they where so inexpensive we where able to buy 18 of them since we needed 14 to complete the deck and a few spares in case mother nature is hard on them. I think they are so nice night or day that even if the units failed to light they would still complete the look of our deck. So far they work great and look great too.

I purchased 35 of these and installed 28. I wanted to have a few spares at the price. All 28 installed have worked perfectly for 3 nights since installation. So, they will likely work a long time, based on my experience with other solar lights. Be sure to "snap" the batteries into the closed position after pulling the isolation tab. I painted all of mine with "fussion" (for plastics) white spray paint and that worked well also.

I purchased two of the copper solar post caps and neither one of them work. They fit my posts, but no light emitted at night even though they receive plenty of sunlight during the day.

By the second year, some of the lights just didnt light up. They did not hold up to the Texas heat and weather. I would not buy again.

I bought 12 of these a year ago at home depot, first problem they did not fit my new fence posts even though they are 4 x4. I measured. I was advised to wait a while until the new treated wood dries out and try again, bad advice because 16 months later some of them fit, some dont but of course it is now too late to return them. I am considering sanding down the posts to make them fit but its a 100 degrees so the motivation is low. I need 16 more so next time you better believe i am going to try each one on a post in home depot before i leave the store.

The company changed the bulb. They are more yellow. They are not the bright white they used to be. The old version was awesome !!!! Bought several for my deck and replaced a few over the years and they were exactly the same. I just popped off the top and replaced that part. This year I've added a fence and bought this new style and now they don't match what's on my deck. Anything else is way too expensive.... Please go back to the other bulb. It was brighter and prettier. At least give some sort of indication to future customers that there was a change. I'm not satisfied with this at all but left with no other economical options.

Great lights for the price.

They do. It fit PVC post caps. Could not use them. I returned them to the store. They look nice.

I am building a large deck and opted for these to top the posts. Since Home Depot only had half in stock, I bought what they had and was assured that there were more coming in. I went back a month later and bought the exact same units, and the company apparently changed the bulbs to a very low light led. They are no longer the bright white bulb, but a dingy yellow that stays lit at most two hours after being in bright sun all day. I can return the second set as only one was opened, but there are no longer matches for the first set as all have the junk yellow led bulb now. If you purchased these before Feb 2019, be aware that you will not be able to replace the product you currently have. I now have to replace all of my post lights and am stuck with the first set.

I put these post cap throughout my backyard & it looks just lovely!!!! The light from the Post Caps are just right. I wish I had somewhere else to put more post caps!

These post lights look great at first but don’t hold up for a long time. The “copper” finish will wear off from sun/rain exposing the plastic underneath. The solar lights work well for about a year and then stop working. But for the price they can be replaced with new when they start looking bad.
