Victor rodent bait station is versatile, you can put trap inside of it or use bait. We have lots of mice especially in spring/fall when they try to make it inside your home, shop, barn etc. This bait station will keep mice & rats away from your residence.
I really like that you can lock bait and trap inside of trap station preventing your pets or children accidentally getting injured or come in contact with poison. it does come with its own key (pictured) Just set your trap and close the lid and put it alongside wall in your garage, basement etc. You can use this station inside or outside, it keeps dirt, foreign objects away from inside the station and is weatherproof.
The only thing I would do is have clear window on top so you could see if there's any mice that got caught without opening up station.

I use the Victor Rodent Bait Station to safely keep rodent traps and poisons away from children, pets and wildlife. This bait station is very easy to use. Since I don't have concerns about small children opening the station, I use a reusable wire tie to keep the key conveniently attached to the bait station. I load either traps and/or bait into the station, and just click it shut - so much easier than competitor's station that requires a special tool that is easy to lose. I use roasted peanuts as bait, and sprinkle a few on the way into the station, because rodents are suspicious and need to be lured in. The roasted peanuts are not messy, and have an appealing odor. I have great luck with this setup.

This Victor Rodent Bait Station is just what I needed to gain control of our outside home mouse/rat populations. The double entry bait station has dual locking tabs to keep the hazards of the bait, and an additional "Power Kill Spring Rat Trap", secured from pets and children! Rodenticide products offer good control of these pest, but need to be maintained and set in a secured container, like the Victor Rodent Bait Station!
The Victor Power Kill Rat Trap (came with my bait station review sample) works very well, is easy to set, easy to discard rodents and Very Effective!!

I never thought I'd be that enthusiastic about a rodent trap, but here i am giving this 5 starts :D
I have a few voles reeking havoc in my backyard and have been trying to find a way to get rid of them, that will also be safe for my family (3 kids and a curious dog). I didn't really feel confident in any of the main options and then I saw this and decided to go for it.
The box can be used with rodent bait, or a Victor traditional rat/rodent trap, this is what I opted for, I figured with the dog, there is less chance of bit's of poison (or a dead vole to eat) winding up in the yard.
The trap fits perfectly in place and the trap is easy to set. Best of all it has a locking lid so the dogs and kids cant get into it by accident. The only "negative" is you cant see if there is anything in there without opening it, a clear window section would be a nice upgrade so I could just look out the window vs go outside and open it to check.

This is basically a heavy duty plastic box with a good locking lid and a design that also allows for a large snap type trap to be inserted inside for extra catching power. I chose not to use the snap trap as I’m not too delighted about handling dead rodents and also the trap was so hair trigger I was afraid of breaking a finger if it snapped on me. And yes, it IS that hefty and strong. I have put this trap outside on the back side of my home that faces the woods baited with the green cakes of bait recommended. So far no takers for the bait so I guess we’ll see. The fact that this box is such heavy weight plastic and requires a key to open should keep random pets safe, but I think small children could possibly get their little hands in the entrance holes, so I’d put it out of reach of children.

The Rodent Bait Station by Victor is fair product. The concept is good but the instructions of how to use the product fell short. The station lid opens so the bait and actual trap can be serviced. The concept is that the rodent enters the station, attracted by the bait (sold separately) or comes in contact with a substantial "set" and baited trap (included). The directions are not totally clear when using the trap option...the middle bait prong must be removed in order for the trap to fit onto the 2 outside prongs. Removing the prong took some effort. If you have rodent issues then this is worth considering.

So we live in a very rural area and yes we get rats. I have found that a combination on bait stations and traps work the best. You will never get rid of all of them, but you can control the population and keep them from coming into your home. This bait station is nicely made and the key to open it (they give you one) is really nice and easy to open the station. The station comes with three poles (so can put your bait blocks on), they give you three holes you will need to drill out for stacking to the ground, very easy and nice.
They also give you a Plastic Rate trap that I have used over and over again, first it is easy to bait and set, they are very durable, second and most important, when you do catch one you don't have to touch it, you just pull back on the bar and they drop into the garbage. They are truly my favorite and easy to use.

The station looks well maid and thoughtfully designed. The station comes with special key to unlock it (my guess you need keyed access for safety reason - so kids can not open). I do not plan to use poisons just mouse trap. The mouse trap that came with the station is also great: awesome deign with easy to set and very sensitive. Another great moment the trap is made of plastic and metal (probably galvanized), but key word plastic – easy to clean (vs. wood) and not going to be destroyed by high humidity. Very sensitive and swift (see video)! Surely will add layer of protection to my dwelling.
P.S.: We have a bunch of Victor’s rodent stations around our office building (serviced by external company). Never saw any type of rodents nearby or inside warehouse/building. Guess they do their job very well.
This sturdy plastic rodent bait station is great for indoor or outdoor use. I like that I can use bait or a snap trap (or both). It is a nice large size so rats and mice can enter the tunnel entrance from either side. Living near the woods, I have similar bait stations outside, and this one is made as well as the more expensive ones I have. It comes with a key to open it, and closing is simple with a push on both sides of the lock area. I like that the key also fits the other brands of stations that I have outside. There are 3 removable posts that hold the bait blocks inside so the blocks are not easily carried outside of the station. A snap trap fits inside as shown in the photos.
I previously purchased bait stations with an attached-cement base, but found that I can easily add a block myself. I will be screwing this to a cement patio block to give it some weight. It just needs a few cement screws to attach it. I also add a few drain holes where needed to keep water from staying inside. It sits nicely against a wall.
The rat trap in my photo is a separate purchase, but it was sent to me for this review. I love this trap! Although it probably is not sensitive enough to kill a mouse, it will work well for a rat. It is plastic, and so easy to set with one click. I know there are mice, but I guess I will find out if I also have any rats out there! It is Home Depot Internet #100558611.
