Killed any plant we potted with this mix
Do not buy! I purchased several expensive plants and all of them died with this soil. We used it for plants we had for months and needed a bigger pot and some new ones from home depot. What a waste of money and its not like we can get our money back. The soil also looks like it has mold after watering.

Moldy like powder
For this being $7 for a little bag I was kind of disappointed. When I opened my first bag it had this strong moldy smell along with white powdery substance. I thought maybe it was just in the top so I proceeded to take out the soil and sadly the whole bag looked like that. Glad the other three bags I got were fine.

Fungal mold spores including mushroom producing fungus are a natural part of soils and mulch. It just takes the right conditions for the spores to develop into a fungus or mold. The soild was great for potting early season cuttings to transplant for spring. It had a nice “soil consistency and not wood twigs and peat like some others. Overall a nice alternative to teh higher priced potting soils.

Too soon to really know. Haven\t used it all yet, but so far everything is ok. Seems to be a very good product for the home gardener. And of course, won't really know until the growing season gets underway and we we see the results--the flowers & veggies. Especially looking forward to the veggie harvest & compare to prior years..
