Definitely burned my yard. I followed the directions. There are burned spots even in the areas that do not get a lot of sun. Not sure what went wrong but there is nothing I can do now but wait it out and hope the burn spots recover.

Horrible product. Didn't kill weeds. After heavy 30 minute watering it burnt the law leaving it looking splotchy. After two weeks lawn is not greener and looks worse than before I used this crap. Going back to Scott Turf Builder. Do not recommend at all.

I've used Scott's in the past but wanted to try Vigoro at a lower price. I read and followed all of the instructions carefully (wet grass before, etc) but this product killed more grass than weeds. My lawn is a mess and today I wound up pulling out alot of the remaining weeds by hand (haven't pulled curbside yet, so you can see how this product DID NOT WORK). Please don't waste your money on Vigoro cause you'll end up spending more to reseed your lawn & have to pull your weeds by hand anyway. Terrible product.

This product DESTROYED my entire lawn. After proper usage, I ended with a dead lawn and weeds still standing strong. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. Fooled me once, twice, no more. Stay away if you love your lawn and have worked hard for it.

I had a nice lawn but just needed to kill and control some weeds. I've used a similar product from Scott's in the past but chose to use Vigoro this time. I read and followed all of the instructions on the package but this product not only killed my grass but some of the weeds are still very much alive. Very upset and disappointed.

A better product than Scott's brand! I have treated my grass for 14yrs and tried many products, Vigoro WORKS !! Although Scott's does more advertisements than Vigoro, The Vigoro has never let me down!!

The fertilizer came out of the bag in chunks. It was useless, but how do you put 44 lbs of fertilizer back in a bag?

I use this product in May and June. then I use the turf builder for July and Aug. back tonweed and feed in Sept-Oct depending on the weather. then usually top off with the last application in the fall. Over all viagro is the only product that i will use on my yard.

Accidentally bought this product thinking it was the Scott's late spring fertilizer. After all the rain this spring, my lawn was looking the best it ever has. I wanted to give it a little extra boost before the heat of summer. I applied this product 4 days ago and my grass is starting to die in clumps. It killed the clover in my grass as well as the grass it was supposed to help. I'm very angry this product is even allowed to be sold. Hoping that the grass will bounce back before it starts to get hotter.

I've been using this for several years now and always have amazing results. this works better than Scott's by far. I think most people who give this a bad review do not follow the directions properly. it requires two passes both directions. I think most people only do one.

I bought this at Home Depot on 4/17/19 and applied it the same date. I bought it because it was cheaper than the more expensive brand. BIG mistake. this product has not killed most weeds and it actually has allowed more dandelions than I have ever seen on my lawn. Calls to complain resulted in being told to wait while it works. To date no improvement. Very disappointed.

Looks like this doesn't work for southern grass. I asked home depot online support before place the order. And home depot representative said yes. This product did kill weeds efficiently but it also kill my grass. Lucky enough I didn't use this weed and feed for whole yard but only apply to target area with weeds. Weeds gone, also grass~~ This product should not sell in Texas or ship to Texas

This product works, however it has some flaws as it left burn spots on my lawn, even though it indicates no burn. Also, the 2 bags punched both had significant clumps. The clumps seemed more of an issue with how it was stored at the Home Depot store. Not the worst product, but doesn't live up to the claims. I give it a fair rating, as I have had the clumping issue on several occasions.

The weeds are doing great but my grass is brown is this stuff really supposed to work

This is no weed & feed, but kill the grass product. See the pictures of my lawn after i applied to the weeds in the lawn. Do not waste your money on this. I wish could sue this company for making false promises and runing a beautiful lawn.

This burned my lawn even though it says NO BURN!. Followed the spreader settings, etc. Excess fertilizer was not applied! Only used this because store was out of MIlorganite. Will NEVER use again!

This product killed my grass, I applied and in less than 2 days most of the grass turned yellow and looked dead. I called their support and was told to water for 45 minutes 4 times a week, so far the only thing growing is my water bill. My yard is a mix of green, bare and yellow patches. I've since seeded, fertilized, over and over, and basically my yard that I've spend a lot of money on is ruined. Please note that the picture I added was taken today, after I've already done a lot to try to save my yard

This product is terrible. I even followed the instructions of a Vigoro Rep at the home depot. I did exactly what he told me to do and this is what I end up with. Work my tail off trying to have a nice lawn, now it is embarrassing. The funny thing is grass was killed and weeds are thriving.

We bought this product from Home Depot, nine bags of the stuff, and used it according to the directions. The product was extremely clumpy in the sealed bag, and took several attempts to break it up, where it would filter through the spreader. One week later, this is what we are left with. The product seems to be for professional use, not at the homeowner level. So very disappointed in the resulting damage.

It some what worked in places which weeds were already struggling. The green weeds look healthy and fertilizered try something else

Product seems to work as described on the package. I followed instructions and applied to the specified quantity. What I cant do is rate this as excellent because I applied under less that ideal conditions. The directions read to apply to wet grass. I could not, put down dry and there has not been any rain in the last 10 days to water in the product. However, where I will give this product all the credit is despite the non ideal conditions, it is still killing weeds. Picture attached. After 3 or 4 days, we noticed the weeds in the lawn curling up and turning brown. I applied this as part of a 2 set process. The first being a prodiamine pre-emergent in mid march. I had to wait an appropriate amount of time to apply this product, but so far so good. This should take my lawn into mid to late summer and the price point was better than the big name brands, and seems to work just as good.

Worked quick and greened up nicely

I bought 5 bags of this (we have a corner lot & wanted to make sure I got every weed) and a week and a half later all the weeds are still there. At 40 dollars a bag it should have worked better. I could have used that money and rototilled the yard instead.

The product is good, but does not kill all weeds.

I’ve used other products and they never work perfectly. This one however worked great! I’d say a handful of dandelions sprung up where I was running out of product and but the rest of the lawn was greener and clear of weeds. The area on the photo top left isn’t treated with any product and full of dandelions.

I have the greenest grass in my neighborhood. I was looking at my other neighbor's grass the other day and noticed that my grass was looking healthier than my neighbors who pay companies. I'am very pleased and will be using this product in the future.

We HAD beautiful grass, just needed to kill a few weeds. Now our entire front lawn is completely dead. Followed directions as indicated on bag. Highly DO NOT recommend.
