Fan turning wrong way
Has anyone installed this model and the fan is blowing instead of sucking air out? I’ve tried everything and can’t reverse the polarity

Reno, Thank you for your question on 30 in. W Under Cabinet Range Hood in Stainless Steel. Its highly unlikely the fan is spinning in the wrong directions. Some of the reasons why the air seems blowing down is if the hybrid filters are not installed, the duct size is smaller than recommended which is 7" or if the damper is not fully opening when the fan is turned on.     light button not working
    bought this unit almost a year ago, the light button stop sticking, so now we have to hold it in with our finger in order to keep the light on.

      This Hood is not worth the money is very noisy cannot tell the difference in the fan speeds the light does not have the option to adjust to a dimmer setting smudge is very easily not worth the money it's too loud

This range hood is equipped with Includes 2 long-lasting, energy-saving LED (GU10) light bulbs for bright, evenly distributed cooktop illumination. Normal operating noise level of this model is normally quite low. Excessive noise is likely indicative of a potential problem with the fan blade which can easily be replaced.               Not A Good Product
              We had this unit for less than a year and the on/off button for the hood light quit working. You have to hold it if you want to use the light. The manufacturer will send you a replacement for $11 S&H, but you still need to replace it and it's not a simple task.

              Thank you for posting your question online. The switch housing may have failed causing buttons to malfunction. The manufacturer warranty covers the first year with proof of purchase. In order to replace the switch, simply remove the aluminum filters and bottom grease panel which will allow you access to the switch panel.                 This was our third fan over 20 years and only changed because we went from white stove to Stainless Steel. Couldn't believe the noise level. Thankfully I was given a second unit to try but sadly just as bad. I've never heard such a loud fan. Switched to another brand and it was fine. A disappointment as the appearance and design was excellent.

                  This is not good for an under-cabinet replacement. They put the exhaust duct off center and moved it towards the rear. It took me about 5 or 6 hours to get it hooked up to the existing exhaust duct. The job should have only taken an hour at the most to finish the install. I had to use aluminum foil and metal duct tape to create a connection. The installation instructions are vague, and the illustrations are too small and blurry. They need to hire an American technical writer to do the instructions for products sold in America. Having the draftsman do the manual doesn't work. Unless it is a new install do not buy. If you must buy it check to see where your exhaust duct is positioned first.

                  Thank you for your feedback. Please allow us this opportunity to address your concerns. This range hood can be connected to a duct using any of the 3 available duct ports. Only one of the three ports (7” round port on top) is offset slightly to the side. The other two rectangular ports are centered. The slight offset of the round port is required in order to utilize a centrifugal fan configuration to maximize effective airflow. Unlike axial fans commonly used in low airflow range hoods, centrifugal fans are designed for high airflow, ducted applications where the exhausted air has to overcome the resistance generated by the ductwork.

                  Please note that there are no standards governing duct location. As such, duct port locations differ between range hood models and manufacturers so slight duct adjustments are not uncommon during installation. In most residential applications, ducts have the necessary flexibility to accommodate for these differences. If you require further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 1-888-449-9197.                     This hood is extremely noisy! It has 3 fan speeds that all sound the same. I bought a second one to see if it was different but it was just as loud. Secondly one of the rivets in the top of the hood isn’t flush with the unit so it interferes with the cupboard opening. It looks nice though.

Our range hoods do not have rivets on the top of the hood. There are screws in the top that may stick out a fraction. Within 3 inches of the front/top there are no protruding screws. There are 2 screws holding down the front vent cover which are flathead screws and are countersunk. They just need to be tightened down if they are not flush. This is not an issue we've encountered before. ConglomKB

                    Was in love with it, but buttons are cheap
                    I've only had this hood for 4 months and if you asked me before today, I would have ranted and raved about it. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the buttons fail. The light button popped when I was pushing a different one and now it won't stay pressed on. Aside from that, the vent does a nice job at sucking steam and smoke and the light is bright, when it actually works.
