Perfact for my small shop, if you stall this machine your pushing to hard, use a more aggresive grit or be a little more patient. The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of five, is because there is no dust control, but i can add something.

I purchased this to shape some pieces for a table I’m working on. In less than 2 days the wheel snapped off. The table has warped and slides all over even after tightening it up (doing it every 5-10 minutes when using now). It is low quality and you should not buy it if you want to do serious sanding. I’m just hoping it makes it through this project but it has told me to never buy a Wen product again.

This belt sander has saved me so much grueling time and work. I didn't expect it to be so many leagues above trying to sand with my corded Dremel, but it is. This thing eats through the wood that would take my Dremel hours in literal seconds. I love it and can see it being my main sander for years

Works great for hobbiest. Plenty of power. If you are creative you can make a dust collector to keep the dust down.

this is a nice sander when it works. This is a nice sander when it works. I had about 10 cub scouts here today cutting pine wood derby cars. The sander would shutdown or when starting it up after a pause it either would not start or I had to push the belt sander until it took hold.

We love the sander but it was sent to Eagle Idaho instead of Idaho Falls, Idaho . I had to drive all the way there to pick it ip

I read a few reviews prior to buying this and was hesitant at first because some people said that it noisy and the belt slips off too much. Honestly, this was a great purchase! You can make quick adjustments for the belt and it rides perfect now. This machine is a lot more quiet than I feared and it's the perfect size for my bench in my small workshop. Gets the job done well. Has the right amount of power to do smaller jobs and has taken on a couple bigger items just fine. Got to let the sander and its paper do the work and not force the process. Be patient

This sander has so much power, I flip it over and ride it like a snowmobile!

The sander is simple to use. Quality reflects the price. But overall = excellent.

Very good for light projects. The motor lacks power for heavy duty work. Overall it is a valuable asset to my work shop.

Great machine! It has plenty of weight to hold it self still while you work! Powerful motor keeps on going! The disc and the belt go in only one direction, Watch your fingers!

Touque on wheel and belt is low. Good for small , hobby jobs. Not bad for the price.

The switch should have been place in a better place! The switch is just below the dust guard on the belt and there should be a deflector on somewhere that would not let the dust build up where it does!

Good power for a small unit. A little small, but it stores well. All in all a good product for the price. Yes I would buy it again.
