Product Vs. Services
As a relative new and innovative company your products are awesome and affordable, but unfortunately you've restricted the use of the ability to record video footage without a paid prescription to your services. Personally I believe loyal customers with SD cards should have been allowed to continue accessing recordings via the use of an SD card. It almost felt like a money grab or hook and bate situation when so many customers initially brought Wyze cameras because of the ability to record clips to the SD card originally and then subsequently denied access to this feature. I still love your products and will probably continue to purchase them, but I think Wyze should reconsider not charging additional fees for SD recordings.

User-friendly system
Lithe camera works well for the most part. It doesn’t always pick up and record events but that is rare. The sound has a lot of background noise so is rarely useful. Overall the app and the camera installation is very user-friendly for someone who is not very techy.

Camera Stops Working If Internet Goes Out
The camera works alright for the price. I initially purchased this camera because I wanted something that would continue to work even if the power went out or was cut, but it turns out that even if you put a microSD card in the device that for some reason if the internet goes out at all that nothing gets recorded. I feel as if the device should be recording stuff even if the internet goes out since it's powered by battery and connected to a solar charger. If you guys could make the device save recordings to SD whenever connectivity is lost and then have it upload those to the Wyze app once the internet is back up I would immediately change my rating to 5 stars. What I did do, though, was bought a UPS and connected my modem, router, and the base station for the outdoor cameras and it will run all 3 for 2 - 3 hours should the power go out, but it still seems really pointless for this thing to have an SD card in the base station and the camera itself when neither one can be used to do anything other than scheduled recordings. Outside of that I am overall satisfied with the quality of the picture and the performance of the cloud based service. I paid for 1 year cam plus and it does it's job.

Missing the facial recognition as the V3 cam. Would be highly convenient to use the motion detection to trigger other non wyze devices such as lights or switches. I selected to record more than 12 seconds but still that has been the limit of each event record

The max range between the camera and Base Station varies, but in an open, clear field, they can be up to 300 feet apart. Effective for my needs, great price
Been using a variety of Wyze products for a few years now and they never let me down. Keep in mind that these are battery powered cameras that don't permit continuous recording, but that's pretty much how it has to be or else you'd be out of batteries too quick. Design is necessary, and they work well within those limits.

Constant Errors and Disconnecting
Constant errors and disconnecting. Ever since installing the wyze solar panels the cameras go into a "device is unable to connect" state. This requires taking the camera down and manually turning it off and back on. Then in another 2 weeks it will happen again.. Also I have had a lot of trouble with the camera showing a recording, then when I click to view or watch it, it gives an error and didnt record. Not great for a claimed "security camera". Would not recommend.

Great Cam, yet only supports 32GB micoSD card.....
The WYZE Outdoor Cam V2 is only compatible with a 32GB microSD card, NOT the 128GB card offered on the WYZE website. Cam works well and has good video quality, and good night vision video. I just wish it supported the larger 128GB microSD card as the WYZE website stated, yet WYZE support says it does not. Also, WYZE Base-station only supports a 32GB microSD card.

1: The Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 has TWO MicroSD memory card slots. One is in the camera. The other is in the base station. Which slot does what? Wyze doesn't tell you . Anywhere! I have tried both slots and have never seen a video from my Wyze Cam Outdoor v2. 2: Contrary to the instructions, do not disconnect the (provided) Ethernet cable from your router, because nothing in the Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 Starter Bundle has WiFi conectivity. 3: The base station communicates with up to 4 cameras via a proprietary wireless protocol.
