Removing top is impossible
This comes with an attached hook for hanging that is so tightly squeezed on it that it's impossible to remove. I tried to pry it off with a flat head screwdriver which just scratched it up so I was left with no choice but to cut it off. Even with the very sharp knife it was extremely difficult and the hook is now useless. I don't understand why they would put this on so tight. Then after doing all of that it wouldn't fit by 1/2 inch drill so I have waisted $2 and have to find something else. Thank goodness it's only $2 but I'm beyond frustrated.

We are using this to mix sugar and water only...
We are using this to mix sugar and water only to make 3 gallon batches of 2:1 feeding syrup for bees. Can't speak to heavier usage. For the purpose we use it, mounted to a cordless drill, it is fantastic. It mixes much faster and with much less effort than stirring. Perfect solution. Looks quite sturdy and a real bargin at the price.

I just finished using it twice on my balcony project and the mixer worked just fine. Mixed a hardner and resin combination, to be used as a primer. Cleaned up real nicely, as well.

Trick to remove the top
When I first received this, even I thought that removing top is impossible. But then I found this little trick.
Just take a small bowl of boiling hot water and dip the top part into it. It should be long enough to allow the top to expand, but not long enough to get the metal shaft to be expanded. Say for 2-3 mins. You can now pop the top off easily!
Quality is good. Value for money. For household jobs, this is good enough. Doesn't give the proper whirlpool effect, probably takes little longer time than other costly products, but hey, it does what its supposed to do and is priced well.

I used this to mix 1 gallon cans & 5...
I used this to mix 1 gallon cans & 5 gallon pails of deck stain with my 12 volt Milwaukee Fuel drill. Worked great on both. The shaft is 3/8 inch hex. Powder paint, so when I cleaned it up with Lacquer thinner the pant did not come off. Would be great for paint too. I highly recommend this tool.

If you make sure to clean off the paint before it dries, it's easy enough to clean. Worked fine with our drill, didn't experience any difficulties with it. Definitely beats wooden stir sticks, especially considering it's reusable, so you'll probably never need to buy another stir stick again.
