Easy to use, looks great!

Wonderful natural grain matte low gloss finish with excellent wood protection properties. This is on a newly built rustic pine slab table we wanted grain to be visible. First coat natural stain as wood sealer Next coat dark walnut to add color contrast. Two coats tung oil. Our family had an antique dining suite refinished with tung oil from 50 years ago and looks as good as new. Note it goes on wet and shiny. Dont panic. After 30 minute soak then wipe down it will be matte and low gloss. You have to wait 24 hours between coats and likely longer in cooler temps. I did my work in mid 50°s temps.

We used it on a floor and it came out really nice good application was not thick nor thin applied with a cloth sponge turn out very nice

This stuff is great. We are updating a house we recently bought and saving money by keeping as much of the old trim as possible. After lightly sanding the old pieces then wiping down with the Watco tung oil, they look almost like new. The areas that were marred look touched up but add character to the finished product. I would definitely recommend this product for freshening up old woodwork and solid wood doors.

First time using Tung Oil on wood. I created this mantle for my new fireplace out of a piece of walnut. I am a rookie when it comes to woodworking and finishing wood. Followed directions and it went amazingly well and super easy. Only 2 coats and it looks great. No sanding in between coats. Just reapply after 24 hours. Awesome product!

I like Tung Oil for finishing woodworking projects because it is easy to go back and repair the finish. This a good product and I like to viscosity.

Good coverage and protection. Seems to have more tung oil and less thinner than most. Restoring old tools , work benches and wanted to keep the wood grain and some of the old look showing through.

Watco products are excellent woodworker products from tung oil to teak oil, they treat wood in a way that looks beautiful and lasts.

I only bought one container. Put it on pine. Time will tell. Has an odor, not horrible, but best applied outdoors.

This worked a treat on my teak table. Table was turning gray and dull so I looked around for tung oil. Watco is the man. Paint a light coat on. Wait 15 minutes. Wipe excess off. The next day repeat the application a second time. Results amazing. Brings out beauty of wood and won’t darken. I’m impressed. My only problem is that a single can appears to be enough to cover a gymnasium floor.

Product works well. I followed directions. Took longer to dry but temperatures were very low.

Wow, great oil. Put the life back in to neglected walnut cabinets. Low smell and natural way to protect wood. Worth the price.
