Takes a bit to run the sand out and clear water but all wells are that way. No complaints, well held up to some hard driving into ground and hitting rock even! Still working 2 months later now

The well point makes it possible to produce water from loose sands without plugging problems. Unlike it's PVC counterparts, you can use significant blows to hammer this to depth. It is a good value. I have used dozens of these and none have ever failed.

My water table starts about 3ft down so we didn't have to go very deep. However the ground became rocky at 3ft, but using a 80lb jack hammer (I think the only way to drive a well point) we ended up at 14ft. The well works great, penalty of clean water. This well point is operating under a electric pump.

Followed all instructions and bought all the proper connectors. Started driving the well point (it is advertised as drive-able) and the threads on top of the point stripped completely after a few swings. There were no rocks/roots impeding the point. Going to try and return/exchange

Soil has a lot of clay/sand so bought 2 points to supply a pump with 6 gallon tank for lawn watering. Drove points 15 feet hit water at 5 feet & bingo plenty of water to supply 3/4 horse pump. After initial cleaning the points do a good job filtering out sand & silt.

Overall, all good well point . . .
The octagonal tip is designed to prevent turning, but I was able to turn it as it was pounded down. I turned the pipe as it went down to keep the couplings sealed. I added 15 feet of pipe. The water yield is good but only after I had to clean out the well point with a hose attached to a "trash" pump. Once the well point was cleaned out it worked like a champ! My first well point lasted 13 years before clogging up with mineral deposits; I hope this one lasts just as long.
