OK for making small trinket boxes

A very fine board. Someday I'll by more but for now I have this one. It is very smooth

I had to watch what piece of wood I was getting. Many pieces had splits in the wood and was bowed

What can I say about the 1/4 inch x 4 inch x 4 ft oak board from Home Depot that hasn't been said before? It has changed my life. Before I bought that piece of oak my existance was dull and insignificant. Now I'm the life of parties and I believe I'm a little bit taller than I was before I bought the 1/4 inch x 4 inch x 4 ft oak board from Home Depot. My whole outlook on life has improved and I'm exercising and writing again. If I have any advice for people going through tough times it's to buy a 1/4 inch x 4 inch x 4 ft oak board from Home Depot. Your life may depend on it.

Garbage. Cupped less than 24 hours after buying it. It went back to Home Depot. Waste of money and time. This wood is wet and not properly dried.

Quality product. A tad more expensive but the strength and durability outweigh the cost.

Unfortunately, the board was warped. The steel brackets I bought were excellent and worked well.

Extremely overpriced.

Very good shap and it took A very nice finish.

Tried to glue it to the back of a range hood it warped and curled like nothing I've ever seen before

Wood was ok but your Varathane stain and varnisn is the worst. You used to carry Minwax stain and varnish but you must have done a deal with Varathane at a much cheaper cost - for an inferior product. Fortunately, I can get Minwax products at other retailers.

We bought this to test out gel stain colors. Cheaper than wasting part of a 2" x 10" red oak board.

Looks good, lays flat. Anxious to do the project I bought it for.

The wood looks great and has a nice finish to it but also has a bad curve to it and once installed is starting to split. Beware when purchasing make sure the piece is perfect and nailing it in place won’t fix it
