Poor Quality, Filter came apart INSIDE my Furnace.
Went to remove it and do the maintenance, found it had NO
layers inside.. nothing, it got sucked back into my Furnace!
Thank God it wasnt on HEAT (only AIR), I had to remove teh access panel and carefully detangle and remove the two inserts.
Would NOT purchase again. Pic is what it is. BEWARE.

I purchased in the firts time I saw how much dust it collect in shot time ,but once is dirt nothimg come off
I use degreaser,soap and manny other things but not better result
WORST PURCHASE EVER

Our instructions indicate for best performance to rinse every 30 days allowing the water to flow from the clean side to the collection side. As needed we suggest using a mild laundry soap.

This air filter does not work very well, I have used it for 9 months now and cleaned it twice, noticing only large particles in it and no "browning" or dark, dirty areas of the filter. When I rinse it, no dirt, dust, etc. I started using it this spring then cleaned it after 3 months of use. It's easy to rinse in a large sink, drains well and dries in 24 hours. I use a standard filter while this one is drying.
Seeing no dirt after the first cleaning, I left it in for 6 months, periodically checking it. I have one of these new fancy 'smart' thermostats that tells me my AC and heat ran for an average of about 4 days of the month. That's a lot. After 6 months, there was just a few large particles (that didnt even clean out), see picture. All the pictures of this filter were as I cleaned it, so darker areas in the filter are of it being wet. I will return this filter and try to get store credit.

The filter is easy to install. I love the fact that I will save so much money by cleaning this filter once a month. I just take it out and replace with a paper filter, wash the filter and I let it dry for one week just to make sure its dry. Pop it back in system and that's it!

My metal frame to hold the filter can not tolerate the filter being oversize. The way this filter is manufactured, a joint if formed at one of the corners. Unfortunately, the way they make up this joint leaves the adjacent sides to longer than the opposing sides.
Bottom line, it would not fit in my frame. I returned the first one, but when second one had the same problem, I had to cut the joint free and resecure it to match the opposing sides. It fits now. This is a simple problem that should be fixed at the factory.

Very "green" as it is washable, not going into the trash!

I change filters in my furnace every month, this will save me money and not end up in the trash. I just keep one of the disposables and use it for one day while this one dries completely. It fit perfectly and is very sturdy. Just wish they would carry more sizes in the store so more people could buy them without shipping costs.

I have been using this reusable filter for ten years and only recently needed to replace it. The new filter is constructed of improved materials and even better than the one it replaced. All you have to do is remember to clean it once a month and it keeps on saving you money.

I am very happy with this product because it has a sturdy design and won't purchase anymore of the cardboard cheaper ones that I have been buying. I like it because of the fact I can wash it off and put it back in.
