The big plus of having the option to light with gas is great. As well as the removable center grate for the accessories! Great for smores. mmm

The ultimate kettle in my opinion! I had purchased a tray and a lid holder for my weber premium, but I always kept eyeballing the performer. I wanted that bbq cart! I am so happy with my purchase. The cart is more useful than you can imagine. I also LOVE the propane ignition. I have lighter cubes, but the propane ignition is so much more convenient. The charcoal bag holder is just the cherry on top. Everything you need is on the cart and you’re good to go. I recommend saving up a little longer and just getting the performer if possible, you won’t regret it!

If you really enjoy the outside cooking as much as I do this is the grill for you!!!! The quality of Weber when you compare with other brands is outstanding!

This is a great unit and nice upgrade above the premium kettle. The shelf is sturdy and fantastic for setting up the cook or holding meat to prep. The on board igniter is a game changer and works excellent. The only thing I don’t not like and will change soon is the grill grates “gourmet BBQ system”. I don’t not like the removable center rack. When I lift the rack to clean the center part wants to fall out. Also, there is a Cutout on the back side of frame to hang the grate while you’re cleaning. This is obviously worthless if the grate does not stay in place. I wish Weber would give you the option of a standard grate. All the video reviews I watched online, no body used the bbq system.

First of all, I love Weber kettle grills. I have used an older Weber kettle for almost a decade. They work great and when you cover them up while not in use they can stand the test of time. The swivel lock casters, metal side table, lid holder, built in lid thermometer, and added height are game changing upgrades i didn’t even know i wanted. Premium quality of life upgrades that improve the overall grilling experience. This grill sits higher than my old Weber kettle and my back appreciates it. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the grill came with charcoal baskets. I didn’t realize they would be included. The wheels and casters work very well. The ease of moving the grill around is pretty smooth and very easy. The caster lock can be pushed with my toe. Unfortunately, it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows and I do have a few small gripes with the Weber performer Deluxe. Inside the grill where you attach the lid holder, the bolts extend a little too far into the grill. This makes lifting the grill grate straight out of the grill impossible. You have to tilt the grate and slide it out diagonally. Not a huge deal. I have heard some people grind or file these bolts down to allow clearance for the grate. I will probably do this in the future. This grill came with the gourmet bbq system, which is a small circle in the grill rack that can be changed out with other accessories inserts. At first I was very excited about the GBS but when I went to clean my grill grate with a brush, the GBS portion of the rack popped out of place several times. This has proven to be a nuisance and now I must be more mindful of how much pressure I am using to brush the center of the grate or hold the GBS in place while I clean. I have the GBS sear grate and it works very well. The built in timer works fine, but I have a smart phone, this is a fluff feature that doesn’t really add value for me personally. The tool holder pegs are cool in theory, but most of my tools don’t fit properly. But for most of them I imagine I can tie some paracord to make a loop that will work just fine. The charbin storage container is kind of a nuisance to me. I don’t use it to store charcoal, or really anything. My grill lives outside with a cover on, and I keep my charcoal in the garage away from the elements. Sometimes when I move the grill the charbin storage flops out and bumps my knees. No bid deal, just kind of annoying. I have seen that some people use this bin as a trash can. And that might be a good use for it. I have not used the propane touch n go ignition system. I have a chimney starter that I use and i haven’t gotten around to buying a mini propane bottle to try out this feature. Seems interesting to me but I like the chimney too. I will note that during assembly the push button was very awkward to install and it kind of just covers the back of a battery that you push into the circuit to ignite a spark on the other end of the wire. It’s a very fiddly button that could fall off and get lost easily. Overall, it’s a great grill. A massive upgrade above more basic grills. I was seriously shocked how much I appreciated the little touches Weber made to enhance the grilling experience. Even with my gripes, I still love this grill. John @ IG smoke_n_ember

Very disappointed of the poor design, the way the aluminum ash pan is hooked to the bbq is cheap made.. i had to modify it here and there but in general, i love it...

Great barbecue pit! A little pricey. Also, a suggestion: how about a container for paper like the charcoal container, only smaller. This would hold newspapers for use with the Weber chimney charcoal starter.

I love everything about it! no more lighter fluid no chimney and newspapers to get it started. It’s easy to clean it’s easy to cook on. The charcoal ben the table top!! Awesome grill well done Webber

The best of both worlds (gas / charcoal). With the gas assist you can light the cargo with ease. The work table is durable and makes preparing food an easy task

I love my Deluxe. The gas assist is by far the easiest & best part of the model. The stowaway trash/storage bin, the metal table, the hinge for the lid, the caster wheels and the grill grates are awesome. This kettle will handle anything you throw at it. Thought the price might be steep for some, but it's well worth it. Good luck finding any other grill w/ all the same features for the same price, believe me I'm sure you wont, cause the brand namr on its on is A+ & cant be matched.

This grill is everything I thought it would be and more. The prep table is invaluable and the kettle is the legendary quality you have come to expect from Weber.

This is a great product. I love the cooking experience! I will say that when I I assembled that there were a few minor issues with the expertises. 1st: the vent on the bottom is challenging to put on without potentially scratching the finish in your new, costly grill. 2nd. The install of the larger wheels on the bottom didn’t go too well. The rod that connects the large wheels did not have have a stopping point when hammering it together. This caused the hub to not fit flush the wheel making it crack. It still operates fine, however I wanted it to look nicer! Other than this it’s a 5 star grill!

Love this grill. The workspace, the gas assist, everything. I even use the timer for starting charcoal. 5 minutes with the burner, 5 more with the burner off and the coals are ready to go. The gas assist makes it fast, I hardly fire up the gas grill anymore. Even after work it's so easy with the charcoal right there, and everything I need on the shelf below. We typically are eating less than 40 minutes from the time I start the coals. The fastest was 27 minutes, slowest was 54 minutes. More than acceptable for a weeknight.

I have been absolutely loving this grill! I didn't get the color I wanted (hard to find anywhere selling these during a pandemic) but i don't even care because i love the charcoal baskets and the ignition and the storage and the work space! Idk how I ever managed before... with an old dilapidated 22" Weber grill. I just wish their app was available on Android.

The combination of table space and charcoal ignition system is perfect.

My second review. I am a charcoal dude. I have had them all, and this grill is by far the best I have used. I have had propane, electric, Treagor, but I always return to charcoal.

Great grill but the charcoal container is cheap and needs a better design (falls open). Everything else about the grill is wonderful.

This grill pretty much checked off everything I could ask for in a charcoal grill. The one touch ignition makes starting charcoal a breeze, the side table is made of a sturdy metal and is large enough for two or more plates on it at a time and the charcoal bin is nice to keep charcoal or other cooking supplies in. Over all this is a well made grill and my favorite to cook on!

It is an amazing setup! I use it as much as I can. Hold temperature better then any other grill I’ve used. A little bit a charcoal goes a long way! Wish it came in a 26”!!

Best charcoal grill I have ever used. The Touch-N-Go gas ignition system exceeded my expectations. Coals are ready fast without all the newspaper smoke from a chimney starter. Already added the sear grate, pizza stone and rotisserie. I love it and so do dinner guests. I will never own any grill brand other than Weber!
