Love this grill. We have cook out lunch’s at work on Fridays. This little grill handled 6 hamburgers, 8 hotdogs and 14 brats. Temperature was easy to control and after cleanup was pretty easy

I travel for work so I bought this grill to keep in my camper because of portability & recommendations from a couple friends that have a similar one. I enjoy cooking on it so much that when I’m home I bring it with me.

I originally bought a cheaper portable propane grill, but it never got hot enough, it would dry out my meat and not sear it. After a ton of wasted food and frustration, I finally decided to splurge and buy the Weber Q1200. It heats up fast and gives my food a perfect sear. It makes grilling so easy! I was nervous about the Q1200 not being big enough for our family of 5, but it’s perfect and fits nicely in our camper. (I originally ordered the Q2000 but it was way too big to transport so I sent it back and got the Q1200). My only complaint (and it’s hardly a complaint), is that on the right handle, the propane assembly and tank blocks your fingers from getting a proper grip on the handle which makes carrying the grill a little bit difficult. But overall, I’m totally satisfied. I’ve had it for about two months and have used it weekly and every time we sit down to eat our perfectly grilled food, I tell my husband how much I love that grill and that I should’ve bought it sooner!

You can't beat Webber and I love this particular camping/portable line & bought the 1200. Everything is stellqr except for the folding tables. They fold inwards against the cooking grate and get greasy, dirty, lame design. I took my last ones off and now carry a cut out piece of cardboard I place on the grilltop for travel or I'd have given it 5 stars. Last one lasted 10 yrs, fell off a table, exploded causing this 2nd purchase.

Best lil grill out there! I’ve had several! Fixed over 30 meals in the last 3 weeks on this grill while traveling the Rockies on vacation! Now just want to save up for the griddle plate!

Very nice little grill. Used for camping and boating. Nice grates, heats up fast and cleans up well. I ended up using quick connect fittings to be able to use either the main LP system on a camper or the 1lb tanks.

Great for camping. Easy to clean too. Very impressed!

Weber 1200 gas grill purchased with 6 ft extension for larger propane tank

Grill worked as advertising. Converted propane feed to a low pressure system and it worked flawlessly. I can use my RV supply and not have to carry extra bottles. Bought the Weber grill stand and it was a great addition. I would recommend this grill to anyone.

Great little grill. We bought it for picnics and it works great. It’s best to preheat it per the directions before cooking. Food tastes great. Easy clean up and Low gas usage. I would recommend getting the adapter hose to use a regular propane tank if you’re grilling for long periods.

We've had many, many grills, smokers and things in between that were purchased for using at home. Buuuuuuut, we can't take along our huge, heavy smoker when traveling so we had to find something that could satisfy the pro-griller guy while on the road. This is the second grill that we've purchased to take on the road in our truck camper, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It's so easy to pack up, travel with, and use on the beach, at the campsite, and anywhere in between. Very realiable, easy to use and keeps even heat. Way better than the last grill we were gifted. We did some research and this one won. We're so glad we spent the money on it! Great investment!

Thought I would replace my original Weber Q with a new blue Weber q1200. Perfect for our family of 4 who uses this year round up in the Great White North. Perfect size, works like a charm

Easy to transport with the attached transportation cart. Doesn’t burn a lot of fuel. However, after less than six months of use, the regulator stopped working. It only lights after one minute goes out. Just a little upset with the inferior regulator that Weber used. I’ve been grilling with gas weber grills since 1986, Genesis gas grill and using the charcoal kettle.

Great sturdy grill. Rving full time I was looking for something like this. You can also get a stand if you want and different grates for it.

This grill is one of the best grills I’ve ever purchased, including two prior Webers. The cooking surface evenly distribute to the heat. I’ve made fish, burgers, kebabs, and they’ve all cooked perfectly in a short period of time. It heats up super fast and doesn’t consume much propane. I definitely recommend this portable grill.

I bought this BBQ a month ago to replace my older Weber that I used of and on for over a decade. This one adds a few features the old one didn’t have!!

As someone who never cooks, I was worried I'd spend all this money on the Q1200 and cart and use it once. (My previous grill was a monster that I used 3 times in 20 years.) But I love it and am using it several times a week. In fact, I just made a Portobello mushroom cap "burger" on a toasted bun for lunch! The Q1200's just a super, compact and convenient grill that takes up little space on my deck. It feels lighter than I expected -- most of the weight is in the grates. The flip-out shelves are an awesome convenience. The grill temperature easily climbs to it's maximum -- you have to keep an eye on it. The grilling surface is large enough to easily handle a large cut up chicken, and cooks quickly. (I've had an easier time cooking chicken to juicy perfection on this Q1200 than I do when using an oven, especially the large split breasts.) Depending on what you're cooking, you could easily feed 6-8 people with this grill -- probably even more. Even though the cooking surface is smaller than a regular size grill, it's comprised of two separate grates, which makes them easy to handle and transport as they're heavy. (I often just use one side which minimizes the number of grates I have to clean.) Of course, the split surface also provides the option to switch out one side for a griddle plate. (I bought the plate, but have yet to try it.) It's also notable that the grill grates are broad with less space in between, which means you can throw some fairly small things on there without food falling through. I initially used the small 1lb propane bottles as I wasn't sure how much I'd grill (I otherwise NEVER cook); but I've been using the Q1200 so much that I transitioned to a regular propane tank. It was very easy to set it up with the adapter hose and the propane tank. Fortunately, I was aware that using a tank can trigger a safety mechanism that prevents the grill from fully heating. There are helpful instructions on the Weber website on how to prevent that so I've had no issues. The Q1200's been pretty easy to clean, but I'm diligent about cleaning after every use. Burning everything off with high heat, and then using a grill brush is a FALLACY though. The Weber Grill Grate cleaner helps quite a bit with degreasing and the removal of charred buts. I also spray on liquid detergent and let the grates sit in the sink a few minutes. Again, it's wonderful having compact grates when it comes to cleaning. I highly recommend getting the rolling cart designed for the Q series. It's lightweight but sufficiently stable, and puts the grill at the perfect height. (However, I have not tried transporting the grill and cart anywhere to test their mobility.) Seriously, I can't recommend this enough

I purchased this on the recommendation od a friend. I have a larger Weber on the upper deck but wanted something smaller and compact for myself. This barbacue is easy to light and just the right size for smaller meals. I know it will last me many years to come. The quality is excellant. My larger model is now 12 years old and srill wirks like a charm. Thanks for making such reliable products Weber.

Great grill on our sailboat. Works well with adapted Magma mounts and an adapter for a full sized composite propane tank.

More than expected. Very happy with cook performance, rigid structure, design, ergonomics. But had one issue that want to fix. When installed propane tank, it touched right rear stand leg. Had to cut the leg a little bit because the leg pushed the propane tank.

Perfect grill for empty-nesters, young couples, and the like. Just the right size for dinners for two! Much more efficient with propane than firing up the big grill and faster & less fuss than breaking out the charcoal. The Q is now my #1 grill and all the others are relegated to "special events". The design of the Q is very well thought out and all of the accessories, such as the cart, the 20lb tank hose, and even the grill cover work seamlessly together - Like they were actually designed to work as a system! And yet, you can quickly ditch all the extras, grab one of the little 1lb propane tanks you get from the hardware store, and head out with a light, self-contained, set-up that's perfect for a picnic at the beach or tailgating - the Q is versatile! I was concerned prior to purchasing the Q that it might not have enough BTUs to get that perfect sear. Absolutely NOT an issue! I'm not sure if it's the burner design, the burner spacing, or whatever magic Weber's come up with but it cooks like it's BTU rating is 5X greater than stated! Simply put, the Weber Q is awesome! I only wish I'd gotten one sooner.
