I can't believe all of the good reviews
I have owned many grills over the years but none that perform as poorly as this expensive Weber. I'm a big fan of Weber grills so I really hate that it performs so poorly. The ignition system works okay for a couple burners. A couple of the burners kind of work. I can cook steaks on my old Weber smoker faster than I can cook them on this junkie grill. I've used it 6 times and it will go into the dumpster before I try a 7th. My next grill won't be a Weber.

1.) Please make sure you consider "High" on your control knobs to be the first spot to your left (the 9:00 position). The further you go to the right the lower the temperature will be and all the way to the right is low.
2.) Please make sure you're always cooking with the lid down except when flipping the food halfway. The second you open the lid the heat escapes, and you'll need to close it to let the temperature recover.
3.) It sounds like your grill may be in a safety mode known as “bypass." What’s happening is that the regulator thinks there’s a gas leak, so it reduces the pressure. Follow these instructions to reset the bypass safety mode. This is not only the reset, but how you want to light your grill each and every time.
Open the lid
Make sure all knobs are in the off position (including side burner if applicable)
Turn your LP tank on all the way
Wait 60 seconds
Turn the first burner to start/high
Hit your igniter
Turn on all remaining main burners, one by one
Close the lid
Let your grill preheat to 500-550°F
If troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue, please contact Weber directly for help!

Perfect size for family gatherings.
We had a Weber 312 before I bought the 435. The 312 is a great barbecue but a little on the small size for our family get togethers. We bought the 435 and it is the perfect size.

Overall satisfaction with Weber
Dealing with Weber is nice and easy. I like to call and speak with real people and that's what I get when I call Weber. This way I know I'm getting the right part. I'll NEVER buy any grill that isn't a Weber. This is my 2nd Genesis and old one still works great. Only replaced to go to natural gas and old one is going to replace really old Weber Spirit at VT house. 13yrs before I had to replace the burners. Well worth the investment

Bought this grill online and assembled it at home. Instructions said to remove protective plastic prior to install but we didn’t because we wanted to protect the stainless longer. After a week on the back porch, the plastic would not come off. Contacted Weber and they shipped a new top and side shelf to us immediately.

Great Grill!!
I have a Weber grill that is 20 years old and still works great but I decided to upgrade to a larger, newer grill. Because of the success and durability of my old grill, I only looked a purchasing a Weber. And I can't be more pleased. First, my grill came perfectly packaged (disassembled) with no damage whatever. Kudos to Weber for their shipment packaging. Secondly, assembly instructions were well documented and easy to follow. I spent approx. 3 hours assembling but took my time. Lastly, all burners worked perfectly, no issues whatsoever at this time and don't expect any. A great BBQ experience. The only noticeable difference from my old grill to this one is that on cool-down you will get a "popping noise from the metal lid as it cools. This is not unusual. It may be just a little thinner steel lid than my old one.

So far so good. I have only used it twice and it works well. I love the overall size and appearance of the grill. I have been using Weber grill for years and I have one which is 16 years old and still in great shape. But the one thing I would say I don’t like about the new grills that they come with Stainless Steel grids instead of the Cast Iron which I have on my older grill and in my opinion works and cooks way better.

Great quality!!!
I've had my grill for 5 months now and I love it. I cook on it at least 3 times per week. It is amazing for slow cooking ribs since you can use the outside burners to control the indirect heat. Also, my wife was baking in the kitchen the other day and the kids wanted lasagna, well I turned up the two outside burners giving me exactly 400 degrees of indirect heat and used the grill as an oven. Wow! it was delicious.

Worst quality control ever
Worst Weber quality control ever!
Nothing lines up. Looking for someone here in Las Vegas willing to try to finish control panel assembly as panel is off by at least 1/4 inch holes don’t line up- can’t put bolts through or get the knobs on. If there is no one in this area who can do what no one else has been able to do, it will be returned without even testing the cheap plastic wheels. Went with the Genesis II 435 NG because all the Summit reviews were terrible and my Old NG Genesis is still going strong. Wanted a new Weber for the new house. What a disappointment, not to mention the wasted time and money.

Wonderful company great customer service
Absolutely love it I’ve had the grill for three years has been a great grill.I did have a fire issue due to what we believe grease. I contacted Weber to find out what parts I need and they were absolutely wonderful and stood by the product and sent me all the parts to put my grill back together and get me back grilling I’ve been a long time weber customer and now I tell everyone I know the story I will definitely buy more weber products very happy customer.(The most amazing thing is the time I called, I spoke with a representative within five minutes of placing my call we had a solution within an hour after that it within two days I had all my parts it’s very nice to see that some companies still know how to do business.)
