I love Weber Grill
I purchased a different gill a couple of years ago and I was sorry I didn't stay with Weber. It is such a better quality and the price is great too.

Great grill
Ordered the grill online for in store pickup. Also had it assembled for free! Grill heats very well, and so far my steaks and chicken have turned out perfect. Love the removable center fry pan for cooking fish.....no more smelly kitchen when cooking this! Very pleased with my purchase.

great product. Powerful, even heat.
Grill has plenty enough grilling space. Produces even heat throughout the grilling surface. Very little plastic in the construction-should last!

Bought this product and returned for the Genesis series. Worth the upgrade. Spirit line at HD has a troublesome front door that should be redesigned. Also, the frame and stand feel much more stable and sturdy on the Genesis.

Finally got my new Weber grill!
I have been looking for almost a year for a new Weber grill to replace my 15+ year old one that finally died. They have not gone on sale at all, except that I read that they were at Target on Black Friday 2014, before I started looking. They didn't go on sale this Black Friday, but I stopped by Home Depot and found one with a reduced price (25% off!) because it was missing the thermometer and bezel and was an older model, most likely a "demo" that was never fired up. I looked very closely and compared it to the "perfect" one on display and found no other problems. I went home and checked to see how much thermometers and bezels cost. I went back to buy it and it was still there! I took it home, registered the grill and called Weber to ask which thermometer and bezel were the right one. They said that since I had registered the grill, they would be happy to send me the right one, and with a discount. After waiting a couple of weeks, it arrived and it was a perfect fit. The grill works very well - better than my old grill, especially on the lower settings. I'm a very happy griller again. Thanks, Home Depot!

    Broken piece
Came with a broken igniter. Still waiting for replacement.

      Not worth it...
I found that the main hinge to the grill cover was broken as I was unboxing it. Weber is known for quality but the material on this unit is flimsy. The store nodel's grate was broken on the display and with the one I purchased being broken that is just too much of a sign to ignore. I'll be looking at a different model or brand for my replacement.

        Love this Grill
A little expensive, but I think it will be worth it. Store assembly was not too great---but appreciate it none-the-less.

        Great grill!
After two trips back to Home Depot to pick up missing parts (hinge pin and cast iron skillet), we finally got a chance to try it out! It works great and heats up quickly, so there's no wait time for cooking. Built better than my previous grill, I'm not afraid of it getting caught by the wind.

Great product! Free assembly was included, but poorly executed.
Love the grill. Free assembly was not worth it! Wheel fell off after rolling the grill just a few feet at home. Found only 2 of 4 screws used and not tightened on 2 wheels. I decided to go through the entire assembly procedure to ensure everything else was tight and complete. I then found 2 screws on the control panel support and 1 cable fastener missing.

The functionality and construction is great. The ergonomics... not so much.
I have no complaints as to how this grill works and it is made with very good components except for the front panel that covers the lower compartment. On the Weber website, this grill is shown with a solid metal hinged door. The unit sold through Home Depot has a thin flimsy panel that is held on by 4 horizontal pins that needs to be aligned in 4 U hooks. Getting the panel off is not difficult but getting it back on is a bit of a pain so I tend to just leave it off while I'm using the grill and storing it off to the side. I called Weber to see if I can order the metal door that is shown on their website but apparently it will not fit on the Home Depot grill. I love Home Depot, but in hindsight, I should have bought this grill somewhere else that carried the unit with the solid metal door. The other complaint that I have is how the propane tank mounts under the grill. It is suspended by a scale that allows you to determine how full the bottle is which is good but it hangs through a hole in the bottom shelf, just slightly off the deck. It takes a great deal of effort to wrestle a full bottle in place because they are so heavy. I am actually considering not using the scale and just keeping a spare bottle on hand. I have always owned Weber grills and this is the first one that I have ever had a complaint about.

          Wonderful Weber "Wham" grilling sensation!
I ordered online to have this 130# box DELIVERED free to my front door. It took less than 45 min to assemble and cook my first meal on it. I really am impressed with the grilling surface, and how easy it is to clean. I am glad I spent a few $$$ more for a grill that is obviously going to last 10-15 years. The last grill I bought was a $150 cheepie, which I rebuilt 3 times in 8 years. I know this Weber will be maintenance free for at least 15 years. Well built, well designed, well... it's a Weber!!!!

Everything was great until we went to hook up the propane
I purchased this product as a house warming present for my son and his wife. The self assembly was easy and efficient. Per the instructions I purchased a propane tank separately. Once we had assembled the grill we went to hook it up to the tank and fire it up for a test, low and behold, the rubber gas hose connection was for an inline (mainline) gas hook up. Not a propane cylinder. So we have been unable to use it to date. We are currently investigating options on how best to modify the grill so we can use a propane tank or find out the cost to have a plumber come out and run an external gas line from the house. Major bummer, not what was advertised on the specifications, invoice or box!

          Grill
Fine grill if only the front had a door and not some cheap front that easily bent while removing from the car. They may need to rethink this front it cheapens the product

          Easy to assemble, but...
The grill was very easy to assemble and only took one person. However, there were a couple of push in plastic pieces that were meant to hold the automatic striker wires that did not work. The grill works wonderfully.

Why did we wait so long?
After replacing our cheap grill every 3-4 years we finally went for the Weber. Best decision. Ever. (though I wish we had done it earlier) Not only is it built to last but grilling is easier and more consistent. Food tastes better on a Weber. Not just meat. The Spirit comes with a cast iron pan to roast vegetables and more. Totally delicious. I also know it is really easy to replace parts. My mom has had a Weber for at least 20 years and it is still going strong. You will not go wrong with this grill. Swallow the price tag and know that you are not replacing this grill anytime soon.

            Hot and quick
Very well designed. I lot of thought has been placed into every single detail. This grill heats up to 500° in less than five minutes. Heats evenly. Grease does not burn but goes into underneath pan. Well worth the money.

              Quite a disappointment
I appreciate the free assembly and cheap delivery but. There are some glaring shortfalls with this grill. First of all, the hook for the propane tank that shows you the fuel level is too low, it's Impossible to hang the tank on it. So in effect it is useless. Also and most annoyingly, the front decorative grill.must be physically removed from it's 2 books and placed aside to access the tank. It's not a door on convenient hinges, you must lift then place it aside, then place it back when you're done. How quaint. Oh well, buyer beware. I should have looked closer and not just depended on the Weber reputation alone.

                Great Grill, Stupid Door
You only need to go to the store and grab the handle and lift the lid of a bunch of grills to quickly realize that Weber grills are just made better. Better materials, better craftsmanship - just better. Are they expensive? Yep. But if you look at the long run, you can spend $500 on a Weber now that will last for 10 years. Or buy three $300 bargain grills over the same time frame. So spend more now in order to spend less over the long haul. I only gave this 4 stars because of the STUPID propane access panel/door design. What were they thinking?!?!? Other than that, she's a beaut!

                Best Grill we ever owned
We lost our grill in the storm 8-4-15 and we needed a new one my husband has always wanted a Weber grill so we replaced it with one. We are so happy with this product and the price was not much more than we paid for our previous grill the service we got was also great at the Home Depot.

                Grill was fine
I was happy with grill, but not happy with underneath the grill. The propone tank was difficult to insert, and the door is flimsy. Also home depot did not provide manual.
