Easy to replace. Make sure the small contacts inside the two projections contact the metal shell of the socket it is screwed into.
I gave it a 4 STAR Rating because I do not know how long it will function.
I think it is a GREAT Product!

Like other "touch light" fixtures, be prepared to find your light "on" right after a clap of thunder, or occasionally in the middle of the night. It does the right thing about 95% of the time, so I am satisfied. No stretching for hard to reach switches.

3 way bulb does not work correctly
This does not work correctly with a three way bulb. The light keeps randomly coming on. A standard incandescent bulb is what is needed. Otherwise I really like it.

Not sure if it’s the new lamp or this product,...
Not sure if it’s the new lamp or this product, but it only worked for the first two days and now it doesn’t work at all. The lamp works fine after removing the dimmer. Also, the second day my light turned on all by itself. A little concerning, but I’m going to return this product.

Make sure your lamp:1- has enough clearance around the socket to screw in2- is made of metal where the 2 outer prongs screw touch3- has the height to add this piece in and not have the bulb sticking up above the shade

It says works on any light. it does not work...
It says works on any light. it does not work on our table lamp that is ceramic with a plastic light bulb holder. so either its defective or wont work on this lamp. will be returning
