Unimpressive but inexpensive.
Fair value for the price. Balance isn't great and its noisier than most others. I have it in the garage so it doesn't matter much but I wouldn't want it in my kitchen.

The loud noise can be caused due to the following:
1)The mounting bracket is not securely attached to the electrical junction box.
2)The canopy covering the junction box is not firmly attached to the mounting bracket.
3)The fan is not level.
4)The wires are not all grouped inside the junction box and so there is friction between the wires and the downrod ball.
5)The downrod ball is too firmly fixed and the downrod does not move easily to naturally adjust the level.
6)The blades are not fixed securely to the motor.
7)A screw may have fallen into the motor when installing the blades.
8)If the fan is installed in a sloped roof, this slope may be too steep.
Please use a 45 degree angle canopy # 70031 or # 70032.
9)The glass cover of the luminaire is not securely fixed.
10)Do not use a solid state variable speed control.
11)Allow "break in" period of 24 to 36 hours. Most noises associated with a new fan will disappear after this period.

Attractive and functional
The smallest fan with a light kit I was able to find to put into a narrow stairwell, (still had to trim the blades.) Easy installation with clear instructions and reversible blades(black and silver on the other side.) Priced right!

Had to return the fan because there was an old stump box in a cement finished ceiling, no way to mount the new fan without busting out the cement and upgrading box. Wiring from the 1930’s, decided to leave to old fan there and not take a chance opening a can of worms. Nice fan though.

Ceiling Fan
I am very happy with my purchase the fan will be located in our all season room that hubby built on the back of the garage. However when I ordered this fan the info said it comes with a remote control, it does not and now I see the info has been changed to remote control compatible, I do love the fan so I guess I have no choice but to purchase the remote, not really fair!

It's been already installed. It's in a guest bedroom. So we're keeping it.
BUT I have to warn you this fan is very loud. After having Hunter fan that absolutely makes no noise at speed level 1 and 2 (although it wobbles at speed level 3), this product came to us as such a surprise for its loudness. Pay $20 more and buy a better product.
Oh, finish is good. It does not look cheap. And installation was very easy.
But that noise... (shaking my head)

We bought two of these fans. We put one up, the fan worked well, but the light was so dim (two 40 watt bulbs) that we returned the second fan unopened. Had to add additional lighting to the room to give us the brightness we had with the ceiling light we had before replacing with the fan/light.

I bought this fan for my teenage son's bedroom makeover and thought it looked cool and modern. HOWEVER, it uses such a low wattage bulb (and only ONE) you can't possibly use this light to see anything by. His room is so dimly lit, (and I'm talking like 25 watts dim!) I had to buy two floor lamps to help. This isn't something you can tell from the description so I wanted to warn people before they buy. If you don't really need bright light where you're installing this fan, you'll be fine, but don't expect it to be the main source of lighting because you'll be disappointed. My son hates how dark his bedroom is now and had I known just HOW dim it really was, I wouldn't have bought this. People aren't exaggerating when they say it's dim. IT IS! I would NOT recommend this fan, even though it looks good.

Wobbles
So far this thing wobbles pretty badly and is pretty loud, but we'll see if we can get it balanced. It didn't come with a balancing kit or anything because it says in the instructions we shouldn't need one.

The fan looks very nice and it was fairly easy to install. The biggest downside is that it puts out VERY LITTLE light. We installed this in a bedroom that is about 10X10 with the bulbs that came with it but had to change the bulbs to very bright LEDs to make the lighting at least acceptable. If you have another light source in the room, this will work just fine, otherwise, go for a different fan.

Great fan. I bought 4 of them! I have a 1960s house with lower height ceilings compared to modern houses these days, so these are perfect!
