This fan is over priced it does not blow out enough air and it is in a small room. Don’t wast your money

Hubs said it was an easy install but the one issue we had was attaching the paddles to the hardware that attaches to the fan motor. There is a screw and a washer that you would assume the washer just slides right over the screw but it doesnt. He had to hold the washer with pliers and then basically turn the screw into the washer so it goes on and is flush with the screw. Other than that, breeze is really great and light is bright. Perfect size for weird spot

I love this little fan! I needed a fan with small/short blades and this one turned out just perfect for my small kitchen ( approximately 10x10, wall to wall ) It is deceitfully powerful for such small fan blades and overall size. It really puts out a great amount of swirling air; perfect to cool off my kitchen while cooking. It has three settings and at it's highest setting, it swirls with great speed. The only downsize I can notice is the light output; the frosted glass cover is 8" across, and maybe too frosted to emit enough light for even such a small space. The fan includes two 40W bulbs (not described on the box, which would have been helpful to know) but I exchanged these for 60W LED clear "daylight" lightbulbs. Though this may have helped, it is not quite enough light to thoroughly illuminate my kitchen in the way I would prefer. I do have other light sources that make up for this particular shortfall. My Handyman seems to have no problems with installation. Maybe the most labor intensive part was assembling the fan blades, which I did with little problems, once I figured things out. I still love the look, quality and overall product efficiency. It took about a week to pick up at the store, from the online order date. I am very pleased with this product and would have no problem recommending it to others, so long as you understand that this may not be for you if a lot of light in your room is what you need. Highly recommend this product and it met my expectations 100%.

It is in a pantry kitchen and it is stunning for the money....love the color, gun metal, everything about it....for anyone who needs a fan to circulate air without long width fans? this is PERFECT!!!!! The new kitchen had minimal spacing for the fan but needed air circulation....I did black appliances with the Oak Cabinets....stunning....

This fan is exactly what I was looking for . We have no window in the master bathroom , so using the fan and the air vent is perfect . We had no problem putting it up ( took about 1 hour) . And it looks great .

Took my girlfriend and i about an hour to instal this. The instructions are'nt very detailed though. Before you place the fan on the base, would recommend you put the blades on first. It didnt specify that :-/ When unscrewing the screws, be careful not to drop the little washer that it has on it. We did, and it took us a few mins to get it out of the actual fan. Other than that, it was a breeze :-). Looks great too in our breakfast nook

Looking to move off center light over table, thought if we could find a small fan/light would be great, found this one on line at Home Depot would have been nice to see one in store but no luck ordered it anyway very happy we did

I just finished installing and testing this little gem of a ceiling fan. We do a very small kitchen and this product is just perfect. Notwithstanding the battle I fought to properly secure the outlet box in the ceiling, the fan assembly and installation was a snap. It looks really cool and according to my 9-year old daughter, it is "so cute!" on account of its small size. And speaking of such, do not let it size fool, this fan puts out a very good breeze--and the lights are bright, too. Remember, it is for a small place; so, do not go hanging it in a big room because you will be disappointed. All in all, very please with it appearance, quality, value and ease of installation. Get yourself one!

Constructed built in bunk beds for my three sons. After the construction it was evident we had to install a much smaller fan and light combination. The only problem was the space was now limited to the now 7' foot of ceiling available. One of the concerns was the persons in the top bunk could not have a large fan turning when exiting the bunk. Went on line with Home Depot and there were a couple of choices. Selected this fan and I could not be happier with the product selected. Thank you Home Depot for the amazing wide selection you provide to your customers.

We have a kitchen that gets pretty hot in the summertime. The corner sink area is the worst, which makes it unbearable to stand there and do dishes during the hot summer months. We wanted to install a small fan to help cool us while doing dishes during the extremely hot times of the summer season, so we found this one. I was very skeptical at first, since the fan is pretty small, but I was pleasantly surprised not only how it looks overall, but how awesome this little guy works. The fan can really whip a good wind and the best thing of all is how quiet it is. The only gripe I have is the dim light, but you can expect that with all ceiling fans with the CFL bulb. We knew this before we bought, and knowing our kitchen has plenty of lighting to begin with, it really wasn't a big issue for us. Overall, great buy.

Great looking with soft lighting and the power of a big fan.

I think I underestimated the actual size of the fan, its pretty tiny but very effective. It was super easy to install and looks wonderful. Glad I bought it. The glass on the globe is extremely fragile, so be careful with it as I put a small chip in it trying to put in CFL candelabra bulbs. Its very quiet as well. I plan on ordering another one for my kitchen.

Perfect for my hallway. It's attractive, quiet, moves A LOT of air, and was easy for me to install on my own.

Works great for my son's room. He had a full size fan, but we changed his bed to a loft bed and the full size fan became dangerous. This fan moves enough air for him to keep cool on his loft bed, and he is no longer at risk of getting knocked out.

Mislabeling led me to believe product would put out more air than it does

The light is not bright and you can't increase the watts. The fan makes noise while running.

This is related to the white version, but HD's page wouldn't give me that option, and the color of the unit doesn't matter to this review. First, I've probably installed 20 ceiling fans over the past 15 years, so I have a frame of reference for the job. Second, I've exclusively used Hunter products after a couple of bad experiences with previously installed fans. I went with this fan, because the specs I needed - size, color, price - limited my scope, but this unit met all my needs and had great reviews. Problem #1: Upon installation, three blade bracket screws either stripped during assembly or were already stripped, and we didn't realize it until assembly. I've never had a stripped screw on a fan/light install. Problem #2: Westinghouse doesn't provide details on the screw sizes in their printed documentation or on their website, so I don't know what screws it takes. Who doesn't label parts in their installation guide? Problem #3: I would need to go into a store under local shelter-in-place restrictions and fish through screws to see if the store even has something that could work. Problem #4: Westinghouse customer service has been absent despite a 24-hour response guarantee. They don't indicate that any hours or services have changed, so I'm assuming I'm dead in the water with this fan. This would be easily remedied by two simple steps in one simple category: COMMUNICATE. First, communicate if you need to shut down for coronavirus. People can be very understanding. Second, if you actually labeled parts in your manuals and/or on your website, I could take this into my own hands and wouldn't need to bother you.

I will be purchasing a second one for the kitchen. Good quality and reasonable price.
