I needed a stacked laundry that would fit into a previous kitchen alcove that hd held a large dryer. Space is critical in my small residence and it filled it perfectly. Not to sound like i'm lonely at all but I love my Whirlpool Stacked unit. It fit my enclosure and my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 months ago I moved in to a much smaller home, all on one floor, and the stacked laundry pair seemed to be the perfect answer for me. I'm happy to say that it definitely has been exactly what I needed! It's quiet, works perfectly, and is just the right capacity for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I might have made a mistake. The Washer / Dryer combo has great looks and seems to function as described. I think it important to share the following concerns: The washer lid is very heavy and held open by a magnet. You must hold it with one hand as you close it. If you let go, make sure your hands are clear of the opening or you will experience the pain of it falling on you. Please be aware that both the water level and the drying time are automatic. We are experimenting on how to control this attribute better. We now keep the instruction book handy because the Washer / Dryer instructions are underneath the washer lid. You have to get on your knees to read them (see photo). Crazy.It would be nice to have a dryer alarm to alert you for no-iron clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I miss my pull-out bar to hang wet undergarments on, and getting used to knobs across the top is an adjustment at 5’2..I do love the larger capacity, the quieter cycles, and no buzzing when finished running to wake up close by sleepers..Also it has many washer cycles to choose from. I haven’t quite gotten used to the load then pour in supplies process ~ but I’m working in it!! The catch to the dryer is a little flimsy is my only real negative point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine to replace a full size stacked washer and dryer that was installed on the second floor of my townhouse that vibrated so badly that it cracked the ceiling in my living room. This machine, while small, doesn’t vibrate at all. It works excellent. Clothes come out clean. Dryer works great. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it is very loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so grateful this laundry center fit the tiny space the remodeler had allowed. Even the delivery guy said it was the tightest fit he's had to install in. But it fit, it works - a bit on the loud side - but worth it. I'm using a quilted coverlet as a curtain over the opening to try to muffle the sound, it helps a little. It holds a lot more than you think it would, I can do laundry for the two of us in two loads. I wish the dryer had a de-wrinkle cycle, but overall, I'm happy with the appliance.

I have very limited space for a washer/dryer, the installer said it was the smallest he's ever delivered to! But I am so grateful to have this set. I've only had it about 2 weeks, so no views on longevity. My only nitpick is it is LOUD! Though I did leave behind my stack, HE Samsung washer/dryer which was really quiet by comparison and to be fair I am in a smaller house, and the unit is in a 27 inch cubby hole in a hallway. It washes/drys a lot more than you would think looking into the basket. As it is just the 2 of us, it has no problems keeping up with our laundry. One tip, I'm finding if I don't overload the washer, it isn't as loud.

We purchased this stacked washer and dryer because it's small enough to fit into the space we have in our apartment. It is quite adequate for two people though. It is a bare bones set, no fancy stuff here, but it works great, and the price was right. There's no chime or beep when either the washer or dryer is done. The dryer vent is a little difficult, it's at the back of the dryer, and sometimes is a bit hot when the clothes are first done, so you have to wait for it to cool off to clean the vent.

The Washer Normal Cycle was quick and efficient. The Dryer is a good size and also quick and efficient.

Love, Love this washer/dryer combo!! I recently remodeled my master bathroom and had this washer/dryer combo set installed in my new spa bathroom. I love not having to go up and down three flights of stairs to do laundry. It's so convenient and quiet . I no longer have laundry piling up waiting for the weekend, I can easily throw a load in whenever I get a load ready to do it.

We have a tiny space for our washer and dryer and this fit perfectly. Love that there isn’t an agitator. If I could make 2 improvements they would be to insulate the unit more so that it’s not so loud and to make the washer a little bit bigger.

I need a full size and was worried this would not fit in our small laundry space (the model that did fit was no longer available and this one was a little deeper). Luckily it did fit. It has great features and so far so good. I was only there a week but did several loads and it worked well and pretty quiet. My only complaint is that the dryer door is hard to open and close. I guess the latch is really tight but hopefully with loosen just a bit with time. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Its quiet, cleans clothes well and dryer is very efficient. It fits in a small space & the glass top to the washer let's you see what going on & is stylish too. I love this unit. It is a joy to do laundry!

Perfect size for a tight spot! It's sufficient for one or two persons. The washer is louder than I expected, or what some other reviewers indicated. I live in a one bedroom and can hear it anywhere in the condo. Pricier than other leading brands, but it seems to work fine. Sadly it's not Energy Star so no local rebates available from my power company.

Small enough to fit in my closet and works fine. Doesn't have an agitator which makes it easier to put clothes in. Still washes real. Need to use detergent with HE symbol on it, but my regular detergent had the symbol. Makes about the same amount of noise as my old machines. I like the see through lid on washer.

Great washer dryer combo that is stackable and easy to fit in small space. Very efficient and both washer and dryer work great. Great buy for great price.

Having a senior parent who was no longer able to do the stairs for washing & drying laundry but had no excess room in her in-law apartment made this Whirlpool 1.5 cubic foot washer/dryer stack model seem like the perfect answer. I converted a linen closet to hold this; and the door still closes to hide the unit when not in use and even while using the unit. It is quiet, and the fact it has an impeller rather than a center agitator allows a lot of laundry per load for its size, definitely large enough for single person use. Operating the washer and dryer is very easy, the water sensor uses enough water to wash, the auto dry drying system stops the cycle when laundry is dry. It is a very Smart unit. The outer dimension at 23 7/8” wide just fit in the 24”door frame, as the picture shows. It has been installed and being used for 3+wks now and working well. I could restate everything Whirlpool has said or simply say all of their selling points have lived to be true at this point. Well worth the price if size does matter.

This Whirlpool washer/dryer stack (Model WET4024HW0) runs on 240 VAC (both the washer & dryer), is very compact, very quiet, and holds a lot more laundry per load than I thought a 1.5 cubic ft drum would. There is no center agitator in the washer drum, and the drum has a real lot of “sway” to compensate for off-balance loads. The washer lid is clear, to monitor load & balance. Use only detergent with the High Efficiency (h.e.) symbol on the jug. Operating the washer is simple: Press Power On button, select Cycle (Normal, Delicate, etc), select Water Temperature desired, and press Start. There’s a sensor in the drum that detects the load size, and will add just enough water. I really like the LED timer that counts down remaining wash time. The dryer has a shutoff sensor to detect when the load is no longer moist, to save electricity (you can also dry for a fixed time period if desired). The lint screen for the dryer is located inside the drum. To test the machine, the first load I did was a full load of whites, mostly dirty white socks. Everything came out perfectly clean, light & fluffy. Although I have the washer in my basement and can’t hear it running upstairs, the beeping is loud enough to hear when the load is done. To sum it up, this is a great washer/dryer stack, works as well, if not better than any full size machine I’ve ever owned, and I have no problem whatsoever recommending this product.
