[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this washer dryer combo for about a month. I love the way it washes and dries, BUT it is so noisy! You can hear it through out house. A service man is coming to check it next week. Hopefully, he can do something to make it quieter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. It works well, fits perfectly in the space I have for laundry and it looks good. My clothes come out clean and it takes half the time my old washer and dryer did. I can fit about 3 days of laundry for myself and it accommodates all my bed linens in one load as well. I am so glad I got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 3 weeks ago,fits perfectly. Everything was easy to hook up. The only problem is when it drains it makes a horrible noise. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to do that. I think I will contact whirlpool regarding this noise issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the unit. My only complaint is that the dryer should have a buzzer to let you know when the cycle is done. Also, the dryer door has to be pulled quite hard, which could be difficult for an older person. The washer is fine and I like that the dryer does a better job of drying delicates than my old Frigidaire unit.

Love this machine - basic but solid functionaity. Dries normal load completely at 50 min (sensor drying takes time). Air dry fluffs wrinkled clothes quite well. Always clean lint filter after use as it picks up lint efficiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This combination washer/dryer is a convenient footprint and better than a stackable unit because it is one unit rather than two units stacked. That means the washer/dryer performs as one unit. It is a little strange that you need to push the washer start button twice to get it to start the cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Whirlpool lasted 27 years. It's doubtful this one will make it to seven. The control panel for the washer is flat in front which prevents me from placing my hand there to steady myself while reaching in to grab the lint filter or the clothes. I need that stabilization. I am 5'2" and everything is out of reach (if I was any shorter a step stool would be needed...). Why is there such a height issue?

The only issue that I have to learn to deal with is the washer cycle noises and the dryer not having a buzzer when load is completed and dry. My last unit lasted 23 years and I'm hoping to get many years out of this one.

Felt this way after the first time it tangled my clothes badly in the washer. At times it has tangled the clothes so badly, it’s amazing and extremely frustrating. The dryer is not much better as sheets which should barely need ironing, need it. I can’t wait to move and leave the appliance behind. This is for your information only please do not post.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stackable Washer and dryer because the one I bought eleven years ago broke. I liked some features about the old stackable better than the new one. The new dryer needs an alert timer to let the user know when the dryer stops.

My only issue at this time is the handle that opens the dryer door is hard to hold on to and the door keeps swinging in my way. ( I put a small magnet between the door and the machine to hold it back.) The laundry come out clean and dry. This is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 20+ year-old Bosch subcompact washer and dryer finally gave up the ghost. The spot we have in the house, is a very narrow space in a closet. The widest unit we can get in there is a 24 inch unit. And it is a vented space, so we wanted to use the vent. These two constraints really limited the field of possible replacements. We are a household of only two adults, so our wash loads are not huge. After considerable on-line research, we ended up with this Whirlpool unit. We’ve only had it a month or so, but so far, we are pretty impressed with it. We are able to close the closet door when it’s running. As such, it is very quiet - both the washer and dryer are quieter than the old Bosch units. The dryer much quieter - we can barely hear it with the closet door closed. There is a sticker on the dryer door jamb that says the Country of Origin is USA. So, hopefully this means the unit is made in USA. It is a low tech unit - but it does the job. Clothes come out clean and dry. The drawbacks, I think, would be 1) the capacity is small, 2) there is a lint trap in the washer that is a little finicky to get out, 3) the lint trap in the dryer is a little different too and 4) we wish it had a detergent dispenser tray (you have to pour the detergent into the bottom of the unit before you put in the laundry - we forget half the time…) But overall, we are very pleased with the purchase so far. It doesn’t’ look as cool as the old Bosch units - but Bosch only makes condenser or heat pump dryers these days - no vented units. And the research we found on these new-age dryers was not flattering. This unit simply gets the job done at a fair price.
