Thought I was getting a good deal. Turns out...
Thought I was getting a good deal. Turns out it took four months to arrive and didn’t have a drain pump. Had to hire a plumber to lower the drain. No savings at all.

Ordered mine in August, and despite the lengthy wait until December to receive - it appeared to be quality. Had to tighten their drain valve b/c it slow leaked - but like a few of the reviews I'm now seeing after I bought it - extremely disappointed that this did not come with a drain pump. If this is truly an under the counter product as advertised, then the retailers and manufacturers should realize that there is a high probability that a drain tube is being used somewhere under a counter! There is no mention that it's not included, and for this price, it absolutely should have been included. Also worth noting, while I selected full delivery, haul away and install - Home Depot guys would not install. while it wasn't complicated with existing water line connections already in place, I still had to have a plumber come out when the ice tray wasn't draining the water (that's when he explained it didn't have a pump and was a gravity drain). There should be disclaimers or at least an option at checkout to add a kit.

Had to replace after 4 years
In general this machine worked pretty well. After 3 years it would randomly shut off. We dealt with that for awhile and then took it for service. They replaced the mother board but made mention the compressor was running warm. Unit worked for a month after replacing the mother board and we are now in the same place as before. Technician said the compressor is so costly we should just replace. I certainly would have expected to get more than 4 years out of a $1600 ice maker!

Beware....it does NOT come with a condensate pump! After another $450 to purchase that on top of the price I paid for the unit itself it is now truly an under counter ice maker. Really not acceptable in my book to consider it under counter with out the pump. I haven't even used it yet and I'm not happy.
