when i put it together to see if it fit, it would not come apart and then came apart.

The construction and materials of this product is of very low quality. As we were attaching it to the vent pipe it broke. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

DuraSafe Close Elbow allowed us to move our stacked washer and dryer back far enough so that we could fully close our laundry room door.

This close elbow worked well for me and allowed me to move the dryer to within five inches of the wall without kinking or crushing the semi-rigid duct hose. It provides rotation around the wall duct. It is not made of heavy gauge material, but is adequate to allow occasional movement of the dryer.

Returned, this is aluminum . I used galvanized.

DuraSafe Close elbow works exactly as it should. Keeps the corner from being crushed and blocking the vent. Plenty of collar to secure pipe or vent to.

Dryers are typically pushed against a wall. This causes the flexible hose out of the dryer to be bent beyond the minimum bend radius of the hose and creates a kink point. This right angle elbow allows the flexible hose to be installed parallel to the wall without bending it.

Exactly what I needed to make a tight 90 degree turn.

What can I say. It does the job, is sturdy and lets me have my dryer only 2" from wall.

Needed to fit dryer exhaust in a tight space. This accomplished the task as well as possible, and we were able to replace the foil fire hazard set up we had before. This is going to work well and help our dryer function to maximum efficiency.

Quality of the joints is lacking. There were see thru gaps on both elbows. I had to patch with aluminum tape to cover the holes, otherwise the hot air and lint could leak into our utility room. All other features were as expected.

Both ends swivel to ensure a fit at any angle needed.

The fit between this device and the dryer vent was very, very tight. I had to cut the dryer vent to make it work. Not a huge big deal, but another 1/8 inch on the device might have made everything go quicker and easier. Once in place, it works well in a tight spot. The job is done and will stay done!

I bought this appliance used from a one-time owner. It works veery well and I am happy with it.

Using two of these elbows and the very stiff, but flexible, vent pipe provided the proper connection of my gas dryer's vent to the outside duct.

I bought this product to reduce the amount of flexible piping required to make a 90 degree turn to the exhaust fitting. I was able to remove 1.5 ft of piping AND move the dryer closer to the wall.

I got this washer for the tack building, and I wash horse blankets all the time. It's great! The large capacity is just what I was looking for.
