Love This Little Guy!

Most pre-programmed cycles end early
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall happy with this dryer. I like the pre-programmed cycles however the "smart tech" usually ends the cycle too early when it shouldn't. When that happens, I have to run a manual timed cycle to finish drying clothes. Can be annoying at times.

Sensors issues
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it about a month, and notice clothes was not drying all the way in auto sensory mode , tried small , medium and large loaded, with the same results .. switched to Manuel timed drying and that did the trick…. Byt the way, my vent is super clean…. Called whirlpool and a technician has been dispatched .. I am still concerned because this is a brand new dryer, hopefully it’s a minor issue… we will see

Very nice

Large Whirlpool dryer

I probably am not using the correct settings. They are not tangled or wrinkled when I take them out of the dryer.

Does the job.

I expected a “dud,” but pleasantly surprised with how roomy and well it worked! Touch buttons have a “learning curve” to learn how to use it (took a few minutes to figure out you have to keep your finger on “start” to get it going ;) Otherwise it works very well.

Also enough air coming off the back that it blows things. My husband tried to look behind to see if everything was hooked up right but not able to see that well.

My Whirlpool Drier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the manual to set the digital drying keypad for the clothing type to dry proved futile to dry the load the first run. The results are wasted electricity and machine wear to rerun the clothes cycle. I ended up drying the cloths on the Normal and Towels setting which dried on one run. Also, there is no light in the drum. I regret this purchase.

Low Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Found the scratched drum which is powder coated. My new cloths are being ripped off. Though I suspect the washer (which s also new Whirlpool), but even dryer could be adding to this damage of my expensive cloths.
I am losing tons of money for the damage on my cloths.

Nice features but all fabrics come out damp
Perhaps it is because it is the first electric dryer we have had in 10 years but regardless of “WHAT to Dry” setting every fabric we try to dry comes out damp. We eventually just have to go to “Timed Dry” for clothes to get dry. I’m stuck with electric in my rental house so I will likely try another brand unless someone from Whirlpool sees this and offers a solution.

Worst Dryer EVER!
Upon delivery of my new dryer it wasn't drying. Appliance company I purchased it from found the problem and instead of just replacing the dryer they fixed the part that was manufactured improperly. I have had nothing but issues with it since day one. Heating element had to be replaced twice, belt and others. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of dryer. I'd give it ZERO stars

Cleans off all hair

Dryer sucks. Stopped drying clothes at 13 months
This is 1 month out of warranty and it is not drying the clothes, sometimes it dries but most the time it takes 3 or 4 run times to get dry. Not happy not buying whirlpool again.

Quiet Efficiency

So far so Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer is large enough, but the lint filter (screen) is not very easy to clean. Lint often gets deep inside the lint slot, we have owned other models (Samsung being one of them) that were easier to clean.

Terrible
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer in March 2022 to replace a 20 year old Whirlpool Duet that was a rock star. The dryer worked fine for about 9 months, then the control panel went out. While I didn't have to pay to fix it because of warranty, it took over a month, including the holidays to fix. The control panel is already malfunctioning again, two weeks after repair! Because of my old dryer, I had thought that Whirlpool was the best choice but I was so wrong. I am so unhappy with this purchase - I can never get a live person to talk to from Whirlpool and will likely have to cycle months without a dryer as warranty only repairs, or eventually have to buy another new dryer. Plus Whirlpool spams you with constant requests to extend your warranty, like they know they sold you a terrible product! Buyer Beware of this product!!
