If anyone buys a gas dryer and needs it converted over to propane, this conversion kit is all you need to convert your dryer to propane. It is a process to install, but is well worth it. My dryer is doing great.

The actual part that they are packaging for LP conversion is the correct number but the wrong part win the package is a smaller thread size. It will not look like the picture. Whirlpool will continue to send the wrong part. It's a packaging glich on the manufacturer.

This kit was able to be installed but our technician...
This kit was able to be installed but our technician informed us it was not actually an exact fit/the right kit for our specific dryer. He believe it will work, but we will keep and eye on the efficiency of the heat from the propane. Please be sure your employees are familiar with what series of conversion kits go with what dryers.

The salesperson who sold me a dryer ASSURED me that...
The salesperson who sold me a dryer ASSURED me that this was the correct propane conversion kit for that dryer. It is NOT. Four weeks later & I still don't have a working dryer because the correct one is on manufacturer backorder. (And, Home Depot doesn't even sell the right one - I had to order it directly from Whirlpool.)

Wrong kit
I was told by the store where I purchased my cooktop that this kit was needed to convert it to LP gas. That was incorrect because the kit I needed was already included with the cooktop and this kit was for a gas dryer conversion.

Back when Businesses acted "normal"...the LP orifice would have been...
Back when Businesses acted "normal"...the LP orifice would have been in a small envelope either glued to the inside of the cabinet near the burner OR in the operating instructions, but...now you want to charge $16.00 FOR a 3 cent part.
