So far so good. My old dishwasher that was a different brand was pretty good at getting crud and food off of the dishes, however, it would re-distribute the food and gunk particles on to all the other dishes. I was always so mad and frustrated that I had to wash nearly every dish by hand while unloading the dishwasher. I have had this installed now for about 2 weeks, in that time I have done several loads of dishes. At this point, I am amazed at how clean the dishes are coming out of the dishwasher. I am not a fan of rinsing dishes in the sink prior to loading the dishwasher, so I end up putting some pretty gnarly stuff in for the wash. So far there has been no particulate re-distribution, and all I am getting is super clean spot free dishes. I have been using just the sensor wash function on the dishwasher, although there are some other settings on the panel. Some of the cool features that I like the most on this dishwasher are the following: The top rack is adjustable a few inches up or down. I didn't think much of this feature at first, but it comes in very handy when I have a large mixing bowl or casserole dish that I need on the top rack. I just push the two buttons and push the whole rack down, making it that much more useful. The fingerprint resistant stainless. Although it doesn't perfectly match my other stainless appliances, the lighting and the angle of the dishwasher in my kitchen makes that not very noticeable. I wish that fingerprint resistant stainless was a more prominent feature when I got all of my appliances, because it is amazing. Cleaning other smudges seems easier too. The top control buttons are great. They are hidden just under the edge of my counter. This works well for me because my sink is next to my dishwasher, and I often would inadvertently push the button while doing something else, cancelling my wash. I then would have to start the cycle over. This feature fixes that problem for me. The tall tub makes for great capacity so that I am doing less loads of dishes, and in turn saving water and energy. As long as the dishes keep coming out sparkly clean, I will love this dishwasher. I had Home Depot handle the installation for me as well. The techs that installed my dishwasher were very professional, polite and they worked fast. They covered their work area, and cleaned up their mess when they were done.

Good replacement for our old Whirlpool dishwasher. Pay special attention to the condensation section of your instruction manual. You must use rinse aid and adjust your level of the rinse aid to see less water left on the dishes. Other than this little extra step, you will love your new dishwasher. It looks great, easy to install, and runs quiet.

  • Worked great for 1 yr!

we had these delivered around the holidays 2017 along with many other appliances, Black Friday special, wonderful pricing. The pros: great look, quality stainless, very quiet, and did a decent job with cleaning. The cons: the control panel and divertor motor went out exactly 1yr later after warranty had expired, wouldn't fill with water, nor would the spray arms work along side with the wash motor. I have now replaced a an entire control panel that was bad where the the fill valve is connected (control panel made in Mexico) Divertor motor is( made in China ) and is cheaply made. I now have additional $150 dollars into this 1yr old dishwasher and that's parts only. Can you imagine paying a service man?? Iove the fact its assembled I the USA and Whirlpool has moved many jobs back to the states, cudos to them, but having cheap Chinese parts as a supply chain will eventually catch up with you and ruin your reputation.....

Biggest waste of money. 13 months after we bought this, the vent paint chipped and started to rust. We called Whirlpool, they said the only thing they could do was send us paint. Shortly after, it stopped cycling through a complete load. It would do a quick rinse and drain....no soap dispensed. Here we are 16 months later, it now leaks from the bottom, the heating coil doesn't work at all, and will *sometimes* do a complete wash. Whirlpool said it's out of warranty. If a company can't stand by their product for 16 months, I'll never buy another.

Purchased this dishwasher 2 weeks ago and we are in the process of scheduling our third service call. Whirlpool's customer service has not been fun to work with and they are trying to charge us $99 to fix a brand new dishwasher that we've only been able to run once and leaks all over. We certainly will never be purchasing a Whirlpool product again and would highly recommend looking into a different brand.

My biggest complaint is if I use the fan dry feature it vents out the side of the door blowing warm moist air on my wooden cabinets. Over time it will ruin my cabinets. I have to use the heat dry. I consider this a major design flaw.

We bought this dishwasher around 3 years ago. It worked fairly well for the first 6 months or so, but after that, it's gradually broken down. First, the control stopped working so now only one setting works which is a 3 hour setting, and still barely gets the dishes clean, so we're pretty much hand washing dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Then the soap dispenser stopped working so I now drop the detergent at the bottom of the dishwasher, but there's always a bit that hasn't dissolved and I can see dishwasher residue on the plates. On top of this, the interior of the dishwasher gets very moldy and dirty just after a handful of washes so I'm constantly wiping it down. We called an appliance repair man and he quoted that a new control would cost $175 and then another $125 for the service fee. We are not going to waste any more money on this machine. I hope this review will save others from wasting their money on it too.

This was ordered online and shipped to our home with no issues. Installation was pretty easy and straight forward and similar to any other dishwasher. This product functions really well. I'm a big fan of the top rack having an adjustable height while being able to continuously use the water jets that are mounted to the bottom the rack. All in all this feature does a great job in getting dishes clean. We really put this through it's paces this past thanksgiving and it performed like a champ. The black stainless looks really good and the pictures on the website don't really do the color justice. The top controls are a nice feature and keeps little hands away from the controls. All in all after three months of daily use we haven't had any problems with this unit.

The quality of the disher washer has changed from the previous one that I replaced it with. The older version had wheels on the back of it versus the new has leveling bolts. It also seems not dry the dishes as well as the ones I replaced it for.
