This small wine cooler words as advertised. It is quiet with just some fan noise -- it is much quieter than a conventional refrigeration system. It cooled down quickly and will keep white wine sufficiently chilled for drinking. The main drawback is that the five sliding wine racks are spaced too close together and will not accommodate bottles that are slightly oversized such as champagne bottles. You need to remove one of the racks to hold oversized bottles. My main reason for getting this product is to keep quality red wines at the optimal temperature for long-term storage and it works perfectly for this purpose.

Very nice unit for the price. It is a bit noisy but not too bad. Otherwise I would have given the 5th star. I would still recommend it to anyone who is looking for a decent size unit for a good price.

Nothing to assemble when I received it. I did let it sit in place for couple hours before plugging it in to allow any refrigerant to settle in case it had been upside down during shipping. I plugged it in & set the temperature for 60°. I also placed a thermometer inside to check the accuracy of the digital display. It reached temperature in an extremely short time. The thermometer reads 58° and I have left it in there for a week, it still reads 58°. Either my thermometer is off 2° or the display is. I can live with that. It is a beautiful black finish and you can't see anything through the door unless you turn on the inside light. Then everything shows up very clearly. Very nice wine fridge & I am very pleased with it. This is my second wine fridge & I like this one much better than my other one. Wish I had bought this one sooner. Much better than my other one of a different brand.

I looked for awhile for a good wine cooler. Someone suggested Home Depot and, low and behold, I found the perfect one! This cooler holds 20 regular wine bottles, but it is currently holding 16. I have 4 regular bottles and the rest are wider with a tapered neck. You can easily turn the racks over and toggle the bottles for an easy fit. It's quiet and unobtrusive. I have a small apartment and it sits in my dining room, on hard wood floors, and you can't even hear it. So happy with this purchase! I HIGHLY recommend it!

The unit is attractive, quiet, and works well. My problem is with Whynter. The first unit I received from Home Depot appeared to be in good shape, except for a small dimple on the right side of the unit. I set it up with more than the minimum required clearances. I dusted the unit periodically over the weeks I had it. The last time I dusted it, I noticed that the right side of the unit was caved in, the lower rear area where the dimple was. Likewise, the back of the unit was also dented adjacent to the caved in area. Since I had not moved the unit since I had set it up, I was puzzled by these flaws. I contacted Whynter and they asked for photos. After reviewing the photos, Whynter stated that since I had not reported any damage within 5 days of receipt, I had apparently damaged the unit myself. I do not believe this was the case, so I called Home Depot Customer Service for on-line purchases. They were very responsive and quickly set up an exchange for a new unit. I would not hesitate to order from Home Depot again, but I am disappointed in the customer service I received from Whynter. I will probably not purchase any more of their products because of their customer service. This is a shame since at least their wine cooler appears to be a good product.

Perfect for red wines... only complaint is that white wine bottles that are a hair wider or rounder don't fit well. You can alter or remove a rack to accommodate these bottles. (but it cost you space above or below.) I bought it for reds so it's a 5 star value... had I bought it for whites, I may drop that rating a bit.

Makes a perfect end table in my living room. LED light is great night lite!

Great cooler,but won't fit champagne bottles,as they are too wide

As noted above, this wine chiller is performing exactly as we desired. It does have a slight hum and that could bother some people depending on where the chiller is placed. Ours is in a walk-in pantry and the chiller fits perfectly.
