It works but it’s not quite big enough for our needs
I ordered this as a replacement to my 12000 BTU window unit that died at the end of last season. I needed something I can move easily after an injury left me with the inability to move heavy objects long distances.
The pros; it does work and it does cool. The humidity vent does a good job of releasing moisture. It’s on wheels and easy to move and lift.
The cons; still heavy, almost 80lb. No adjustment on the fan path/settings. Doesn’t cool as well as a window or wall unit of comparable size.
If you have one or two open rooms it’s worth it it will do the job, anything with a wall or small entryway it just won’t make it. I did add a photo of what I drained off after a 24 hour straight run. I put it on my table for easier drain and a small amount did get on the table. There are hose attachments available that help with the draining process which may need done once a week depending on your humidity level. This was used in a humid setting and did just fine.

Works great in my upstairs large studio and even keeps the two adjacent guest bedrooms cool. I generally turn it on in the morning when the studio is cool, setting the fan on high and temp. at 71-72 degrees. At end of day temperature in upstairs area is about 75 degrees, which is comfortable: This temperature, is influenced by an open stairway where we have hotter air from lower level raise up to the upper floor.
We are very happy with this unit and highly recommend it for dry climate at 5,500 ft. elevation where average day is about 90 degrees Firenhart.
Great air conditioner. The dual pipes make for excellent cooling - and the self evaporating design feature is so great - no more emptying out buckets of water! - our kitty cats sit in front of it all day long, as shown in the video link below:

Well first off I received my system 4 days late.i have been having it about a month.. I was looking for a cooler that would keep my living room cool. I chose this one because it was 13,000 BTU.
Once I set it up and started to us the system it works good so far. The cooler blows strong cool air..
I purchased 2 units the first week of May when they were on a special buy. Have one in each bedroom and they keep my whole 980 sq ft apartment at around 70-72 degrees and it’s over 90 degrees out side. I couldn’t be more happy. I did wrap the exhaust hose with an insulated duct wrap as I saw online to help the unit work more efficiently. The exhaust hose will put off a lot of heat if you don’t.

The two hose design eliminates negative pressure draw of air from through walls amd cracks. The unit is large enough to cool my 460 sqft 2 car garage as a makeshift apartment used by a friend. The two hoses are mounted into the attic door and are wrapped in insulation. The volume of the dual hose design circulating air, even from the hot attic space, is sufficient for allowing the unit to both cool and dehumidy the entire garage very well. Excellent reduction of both noise and energy consumption in comparison to the single hose design unit I was using before. Great product.

I bought this to run off my generator if the power goes out. Also to run in the garage when working there in the summer. I was happy that this unit is not very loud. I liked it so well that I got one for my parents. It is short enough to fit below their window nicely. The dual hose if the way to go to get much better efficiency. I tested this out in the garage and it works great. The hoses can easily adjusted in length up to 9 feet.
