Not a robust tool but it got the job done for me. The wire size it claims to cut through is a little overly ambitious.

Used to cut chicken wire. Worked perfectly.

This Wire cutter was much larger than I needed, but I used it anyway to cut some very thin wire. It did not cut the thin wire, I can't imagine how hard it would be to try to cut something very large.

I'm using this to cut a wire fence and it cuts great.

Not a Knipex! Too flexible and loose tolerances for real work. The jaws wiggle enough that you don't get a good blade edge to blade edge cut. Feels cheap. Save up and buy a Knipex CoBolt and have it for years and never look back.

I bought these cutters to cut the lath wire under the stucco of my house. In the past, I've used tin snips - works okay, but many times the wire gets stuck between the blades. The cutting action is also a little hard - a snap as the wire cuts, so I wanted to get a better set of cutters. Since these look like miniature bolt cutters, I thought they'd work better than the tin snips.How did these pliers work? Excellent! They easily cut through the lath material. The leverage is great and with the small nose, it was easy to get the cutter into a tight spot.I was surprised that they call these cutters "wire cutters". I can't imagine a wire that needs cutters this heavy duty, but maybe a large multi strand cable?I highly recommend these for cutting stucco lath wire or any other steel wire.

These things are horrible, do not really cut anything better than normal small wire cutters. Waste of money.

Great tool for cutting small gauge wire. Used it for cutting field fencing and I was glad that I had the (Wiss) wire cutter. I've used other Wiss products and they all performed well and appeared to be well made.
