Very expensive for what you get

I used the moldingto upgrade 4 doors on a bookshelf to up datethe look. I can post a before andafter when I havecompletely finished the poject.

Was way too expensive however it works for my purpose unfortunately I need more but I will shop around and see if I can find something less expensive

You have to go thru the lattice as some are warped. But in the end it does the job, well.

Looks good on the project

The lattice wood was not smooth on either side. When staining the wood, the ruff edges looked "fair". I would next time look for a more high quality item for 91 cents a foot.

Watch out, some pieces have splits at the ends running 3 or 4 inches.

When cutting small pieces of this lattice, and having to tap a nail in this product breaks every time. No matter how delicate or slow you are tapping the nail in. It broke every time. I ended up gluing the small piece to my door frame bc I got so frustrated. Also, some of the larger pieces cracked t

Minimum knots, voids and other defects. Some pieces are warped . . . but straighten fairly easy.

Basic Million worked for my application.

Clear wood with nice clean edges , was used to match some existing trim.

Compared to other molding sold by Home Depot, I thought that this plain lattice was both over-priced and very rough. In order to use it, I had to run it through my planer to assure a smooth, flat surface and edge. At $0.84/foot, I expect better. It clearly failed to meet my expectations.

I had to go through 20 boards to find 4 that were straight.

I believe the lattice is overpriced is my first major issue, it is over .80 a foot which is excessive for something this small and many times not even finished well. The second issue is that many pieces of the lattice have a nicely finished and smooth side and many are rough on both sides. The pieces that are rough on both sides require sanding and therefore require more time to utilize the material. HD should lower the price and they should at a minimum ensure that at least one side of the lattice has a smooth ready to paint surface.
