First you pop out the center plug and then remove the dial to get access to the 2 screws that remove the faceplate, you need to do this to add your regular outlet cover as these go overit, wire it up following the instruction and then reverse the order of parts. Program the the timer and your done!

Works great.. the mechanical pins much easier that some electronic LCD display you can't figure out

I’m a anti-digital timer person, trying to make adjustments is just too glitchy and frustrating for me, it seems the small switches doesn’t make a positive connection, probably cheap quality but the mechanical ones make positive contact and never had any problems with them.

Templates can be a problem for these devices but I squeek by by adjusting the timer so it fits tight aganist the back of the switch plate. The timer needs a slight re-design so the clock mechanism is not hampered when the finished clock is put together. The clock mechanism must be free to turn and sometimes it is difficult to achieve this. An extra thick switch plate will not allow the clock to operate.

Easy to install and it works well

I purchased 4 of these I’ve an 18 mo period and 3 of the 4 broke after installing. The plastic internal parts fail and do not turn on and off the lights. I will not buy another one of these timers.

Stop working after few months. Looks like cheap quality. Onstalled by a professional electrician but stop working in a few months usage,

This one fit the 2 gang plastic cover plate, others look similar but will only work on a one gang junction box.

This timer switch works well once it is installed correctly. Because it is mechanical timer it runs a couple of minutes late each day (24 hours), so you need to re-adjust timing once a few days (it is acceptable to me for resetting timer at this frequency). It is not easy to install by yourself if you don't have knowledge on the wiring of electricity.

This was very easy to set or change

I didn't realize that until I installed it. Many 1-star ratings before me had already stated the problem that I wished I had seen it before I bought it. So, I recommend that you DO NOT buy this one. I hope the Home Depot will accept my return.
