Home Depot is TERRIBLE about shipping. I saw others complain their item came damaged and thought surely I’ll be lucky, nope, all 4 of the clamps I purchased were dented beyond repair. I returned them in person and they had 0 in stock in the store! No way will I buy again because this is the 2nd time I bought something from HD and it arrived damaged. The reason is simply because they ship things in a big box with NO padding! They literally just threw one piece of paper on top! Awful!

I immediately took the item into the store to return it because it was so beat up and damaged.

Used this heat lamp with a 120 v red heat bulb. Kept 3 feet above the birds. Literally exploded , shards across the room. Caught fire. Luckily the birds werent in the space.

I can say this product was purchased within a week it burnt down my home.

HD doesn’t know how to pack these. Both arrived heavily dented.

This light fixture worked great in my well house. The clamp held tightly over a week-long freeze.

Gets the job done but likely not something that will maintain its looks for very long. I bought three and all three arrived with dents in them. You'll realize soon why when you see how thin the shielding is. I think it really could stand to be a bit thicker but that would come at a cost and the price was right on these. Nice thick gauge wire, ceramic base, and a very sturdy clamp are included. I don't know how good they would be for fowl conditions though because I am using them for IR therapy.

Were not packaged well at all. I ordered 6 of them and got 5 and they were all damaged.

No on/off switch but the product is very well made and sturdy

Perfect my last 1 I ordered lasted over 5 year's still worked but time for a new one.

Served my purpose of using a 250 watt heating bulb.

Has a couple at small dents on the outer aluminum housing but didn’t affect the intended use.

I have been using the heat lamp to heat a small greenhouse. The new reflector and clamp so far have worked as they should.

There is no power switch so the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. Very dumb.. Also, there is not a ball to clamp on but a cylinder.. Plus (third strike) the wing nut to tighten it with is TINY - far too small to hold the lamp in place. It requires a pair of pliers to turn the nut to make it tight enough. Also the packaging is dumb, requiring the box to be ripped, which is a problem if you try to return it. That makes four strikes.Corner-cutting typical of products from you know where.

Bought this to use as a grow light for vegies indoors, working great

The clamps of this light are covered with scratch-resistant sleeves that would not scratch your work surfaces. Lightweight reflector distributes light evenly over a large area, really gives more then enough light. Great quality lamp that we love using it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good portable lamp with strong clamp. Very handy when working on a project and need some lighting quick. It will also work good as heat lamp in the winter with the right light bulb. The bulb guard is a nice feature as well.
