These were a fun way to add some light to my window boxes at night and color during the dayfor Christmas. So far they are working well.
Just put batteries in and hang them up! These lights have a sensor so they come on at dusk & off...

Just put batteries in and hang them up! These lights have a sensor so they come on at dusk & off at dawn. Well made. Create a "burst of light " effect . I will be purchasing more of these.

I have the blue and white ones as well. I find that the silver is not very bright at night. The other colors are great! Batteries lasted for the Xmas season. I have about 12 assorted colours on each of my two trees. The “twinkle” effect is very nice!

I was expecting a glass or a thick plastic dome, but considering the price, it is good. Its advantage is portability (battery powered), its disadvantage will likely be its thin shell and thus ability to survive the weather -- winter and summer. I was willing to pay up to about twice this price for a better design, for a longer projected life.
