Quad Box with 6 ft. Cord with Right Angle Plug has built in GFCI Protection in Plug
The 6 ft. long cord with Right Angle GFCI Plug and 4 Outlet Quad Box is ideal for areas that have limited outlets. The ground fault circuit interrupter detects ground faults and cuts off electricity to reduce the risk of electrical shock. Has 2 duplex outlets with 4 covers to protect unused outlets and GFCI test and reset buttons on the right angle plug. On the box is a lighted switch to tell you if the power to the box is off or on. This lighted switch allows you to turn off or on all the electrical devices plugged into the quad box. This switch makes it easy to turn on or off electrical equipment that as switches that are hard to reach due to the location of the switch or devices has no switch built into the device. Like outdoor strings of lights, the only on and off method is to plug or unplug the lights. With the quad box, you can plug in multiple light strings into the outlets and turn them on or off with a flip of the lighted switch. The Quad Box comes with a 1-year limited warranty that protects against defects in material and workmanship. This product is also an easily portable GFCI.

Brings more outlets and an extra measure of safety to my project work areas.
This Woods Power Block solved a problem for me. My vacation home has a shortage of outdoor outlets and they are located on 2nd floor decks that are some distance from the ground floor area where I have the power tools that are too messy to use inside. A heavy-duty extension cord brings power within reach but provides only a single outlet, so it felt like I was constantly plugging and unplugging my tool of the moment. With this power block, I now have four outlets that are spaced far enough apart that most wall warts don’t block access to the remaining outlets. Each outlet has its own individual rubberized cover so that unused outlets remain weathertight (and debris-tight), and these covers can be removed if necessary. The bright yellow and black color scheme helps with visibility and situational awareness. There may or may not be a pilot light behind the translucent rocker power switch; If so, it wasn’t visible in daylight. This switch is also labeled “RESET” indicating that it might also function as a circuit breaker/overload protection, but I didn’t find any confirmation of that. Connecting the outlet block is a six foot (1.8m) 14 gauge power cord, and a GFCI built into the power plug. The GFCI properly shut off power with both the built-in test button, and with a circuit testing plug inserted into one of the outlets. Be aware that the GFCI-integrated plug is oversized and may interfere with plugging in additional items, or with some outlet weather enclosures. There isn't a weather-resistant cover over the power switch and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving this outside in bad weather. Overall, I liked this item and consider it a very worthwhile addition!

Great power block for medium-duty and DIY work.
I have always wanted one of these because I need extra outlets and this one is great because it has GCFI and surge protection. I plug it in outside and worry less about my tools and cords having a safety issue. This block has four outlets and can handle up to 15 amps, so great for a bunch of different tools you are alternating between. Each outlet has a protective cover. The cord is heavy duty but most of the block is plastic so I dont think it will do well for years of heavy duty work. This power block is made in Vietnam.

SAFE OUTLET!
This is a great way to add safe outlets to your workspace. I tested the outlets with my GFCI tester and the outlets are protected with GFCI circuitry. I believe the plug end of the cord contains the GFCI circuitry. It's where the reset and test buttons are located. When the circuitry in the plug detects a ground fault it quickly shuts off the power to the 4 outlets. Keeping you safe from hazardous shocks. The cord is 6 foot long and with a rugged covering. It has 3 #14 wires which are rated for up to 15 amps. The outlets are covered with removeable covers to keep debris from clogging the outlets. They are controlled by an ON/OFF switch on the box. There are 2 slots on the back of the box to allow it to be attached to the wall or other surfaces.

great addition to any work area
I'm preparing my work/shed area for power and lighting - and this power block is the perfect addition right by the door. It's GFCI protected so I can use cords outside in the rain without fear. The reset switches function easily, and the plugs themselves are protected nicely from dirt, water and dust. It's a minor feature but I love the keyholes on the back so it can be mounted on a wall. And it can also be easily removed and relocated to the jobsite or anywhere else you need additional power.

Before I begin let me first state that apparently I accidentally discarded the outlet covers, so ignore that in my photos. I've ditched a lot of corded tools at work and have moved to cordless except two main things: my miter saw and my table saw, and I usually use both together and hate all the constant plugging and unplugging I do. This 4 outlet power block saves me from doing that and even gives me another outlet for my router (also one of my few corded tools) and a slot to charge my other tools. It seems decently made and is nice that it has a trip switch and a GFCI for peace of mind. Also a decent amount of reach, and some mounting holes on the back for your garage or shop. Overall very useful.

When I am working on a project I often use several tool in succession to get what ever result I am going trying to get. I have always just plugged and unplugged as I went. In my constant attempt to stream line my work flow since ti never seems like I get enough time this has been a big help. I get the GFCI protection I want while not having to stop to unplug and plug in the next tool. It also has an on off switch I can activate with my foot so I don't accidentally start a tool if I am adjusting or replacing a part.

Nice homeowner grade unit. Not suitable for wet locations. But the GFCI works and adds safety. It is always nice to have GFCI when you are working, especially outside. This unit builds it right in. This pairs very nicely with my Yellowjacket extension cord. The dust covers are much appreciated when you are using this in conjunction with saws, routers, etc. I tried a GFCI tester and it tripped the GFCI properly, giving me confidence that it works. Overall, this is a light grade unit and I'd consider it homeowner level quality. I would not consider this contractor grade. For that, you'd expect something more sturdy. Made in China

Very useful heavy-duty power block. This has smart features. Of course, it provides 4 additional outlets from a 6’ distance. The GFCI protection cuts the electrical power if it’s overloaded or gets wet, and the reset switch is easy and obvious. The attached flexible outlet covers protect unused plugs. It’s 14/3 AWG, 15 A, 1800 W—so handles much more draw than a standard power strip. This is now my ‘go-to’ power extension for outdoor and workshop needs.

WOODS 4-Outlet Power Block with GFCI Protection This is a power block with a 6-foot 14-3 wire corded with a 15-amp rating. All four of the outlets have individual covers to protect the lines you are not using at the time. As you can see in the attached picture the GFCI unit is housed in the plug as in most power blocks. I use this power block with a lower output generator that does not have its own GFCI circuit protection. It is well suited to work as a low amperage power distribution block in a garage or in an adjacent area to your home to give you the added protection of its internal Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, just on the off chance your tool is not properly grounded or you or the tool come in contact with water. The GFCI plug is in fact rated as rainproof with a total amperage draw rating at 15 amps or 1800 watts.

This is a nice added 4 outlet power load block with GFCI protection, for the DIYer or Contractor. I have a small inside work area, so for all my larger projects, I use a setup table outside. This 4 additional outlet box allows me to have power to saws and additional tools off one line at the table, very conveniently! All my sanders are corded.(the sanders that are battery powered seem to run down to quickly).I still need corded drills for drilling concrete or augers for decks, so this unit is ideal. You use a 12 guage wire to the site and this has a 14/3 wire, so you have the power even at 100 ft. You can run off this block and you can tell if you have power at the box with the lighted - on/off switch with it's GFCI protection. The 4 outlets have flexible covers so the ones that are not being used can be covered. This is a heavy duty made unit and I highly recommend it!!

This is a real handy power block with GFCI protection. You get portable GFI protection in the plug end of this power block and a switchable 4 plug box. Each plug in the box has a protective cover to ensure no random fingers or stuff gets into the actual plug until you undo the protective cover in the specific plug. The plug box itself is switched with a lighted switch to show if power is on or off. This power block is great for anything from a rock band plugging in multiple amps and effects boxes, to a contractor using it onsite to enable him to leave 4 power tools plugged in during a job. The cable and box is built with 14 gauge cable enabling it to support up to 15 amps at 120 VAC. This is a nice accessory to your power cable needs.

This is a nice for block outlet box. I was looking for something to use when I work at some in home projects and wanted to plug in multiple tools the same time. It has a very nice heavy gauge 6ft cord with a 90 degree right angle plug. This also has a GFI built-in. I like that it is a nice bright yellow color which makes it easy to identify and see on worksites. While the plugs themselves are very sturdy the outside housing is plastic and not very thick gauge which makes it feel a bit flimsy. I think this would be fine for a homeowner but do not think it would stand up to heavier commercial use. Also even though the plug is 90° it is quite bulky which means you cannot plug it behind a piece of furniture or anything that you want to get flush to the wall. Overall a nice outlet box

Yellow Jacket 6 ft. 14/3 SJTW Right Angle GFCI 4-Outlet Power Block This is a perfect outlet choice for those outdoor projects when I need safe ground fault circuit interrupter protection while using my tools. I am using it in my work shop to power my bench tools and then I will just toss it in my tool bag to use when I’m working outdoors. It has 4 covered outlets and an on/off protected switch. The plastic/rubberized covers plug tight enough to keep moisture, dirt and debris from entering the outlets keeping them clean when not in use. Note the covers are not meant to be waterproof protection from a rain storm or flooding. I like the light weight yet tough plastic material the box is made of and the bright yellow color means I’ll never misplace it. The glowing orange switch shows when it is on and you can test and reset the GFCI protection with the two buttons on the plug. This is designed so you could mount to a wall if you chose to do so. The plug on the end is pretty large because it contains ground fault protection, but it’s a critical safety feature to have any time you are using electric power around moisture. This has a 6 foot long heavy duty cord with 14ga wire inside. Rated for 15 amps with One year limited warranty that protects against defects in material and workmanship.

With this Yellow Jacket 4-outlet Power Block I was able to relocate an outlet that was behind a metal shelving unit. The Features of this product such as the 4 outlets that are GFCI protected, the covers over each outlet, the 14/3 wire, the ability to wall mount the power block and the on of lighted switch on the front of the outlet box are surely Advantages that are a Benefit to me. I located it on a wall close to the outlet box that I use for my power tools when at my bench, [see the photo] because the outlet that I used to use is under and around shelving. Having an outlet box with all these Features that is convenient is a bonus. So that is the way that I use this Yellow Jacket Power Box helps me and I hope that this helps you.
