Pour half a bottle in, waited for about 15 minutes add hot water nothing happen. Pour the rest, left it over night, steal on the sink start to corrode. End up putting my hand and scoop out all the chemicals.

I used a whole gallon of this product in a kitchen sink and I waited for 30 minutes before I put some water in it. What a waste of money!

U can't beat it, been using this stuff for over 25 years now

This worked great for me. Our shower drain had a lot of hair in it and after using this, it cleared up and now it drains great. I poured some of this down the drain and let it sit for about an hour (I forgot about it) but that must have been exactly what it needed to clear the drain.

I tested a piece of my hair that was in the garbage with a little bit of the DEP and I was amazed when I came back a little bit later it was totally dissolved!!!! very very very good product thank you .......Mary A

Fantastic. I was never a believer in liquid drain products. I have poorly designed plumbing in my old pre-building-code house... not enough air vents on the roof (only shared vents, no dedicated vents for each drain) and no clean outs for pipes except ones I have installed over the years. I have a two sink vanity in a bathroom that has no clean out and no direct air vent for the common drain pipe. My three teenage/post teenage girls have used these sinks for nearly twenty years. The sinks have never been snaked. I knew my day of reckoning would come and I would have to install a clean out for the sinks (a full day job for me - cutting into a wall, modifying plumbing, snaking the drain, fixing the wall). The day came last week when the sinks clogged completely - no movement at all. My future son-in-law mentioned he saw Liquid Heat in Home Depot. I figured I would give it a try. I applied Liquid Heat three times to each sink, using super hot water each time. First time through standing water and I let it sit for about an hour... no change. The second time I shop vac'd the sinks dry then applied again for about 45 minutes... no change. I shop vac'd out again, put the product in with a little water (16 oz of product, 16 oz of water) to each sink and let it sit overnight. The sinks cleared immediately in the morning with super hot water. The sinks have worked better than they ever did. Three applications took a little effort, but not bad considering what the sinks were subjected to for nearly twenty years. And it was much, much, much, much easier than undertaking a major project to install a drain clean out. I am now a Zep drain product believer. I have several drains in my house that need regular snake maintenance. I called Zep and was given advice on a maintenance regimen. I am now going to use Liquid Heat to clear currently sluggish drains, then use their Drain Defense monthly. If this works, I will be glad to not have to pull out the snake every 4 or 5 months.

I tried many product . I bought ZEP Liquid Heat Gel Drain Opener first time and this really works. ZEP opened drain in my house very quickly. I am satisfied with this product.

Poured in the recommended amount and waited 15 minutes and flushed. It had completely unclogged our shower. Highly recommend this product.

Have used before. Great product that works every time.

Didn’t work in my slow kitchen drain. Tried multiple times. 16 ounces, wait 5 minutes, flush with hot water, still slow. Tried 32 ounces, wait, flush, still slow. Repeat two more times, still slow. Used entire container and it was no better. Now to try Zep’s money back guarantee….
