Better than imagined
Bought this over summer trying to keep costs down in kitchen renovation... It is beautiful but at same time really keeps cooking smells etc out! Easy to Install too!

Love the range

For the price I paid for this item, one would think that it would do a great job of removing cooking odors. However this is not the case. This item looks good and has a solid mounting system, but it fails in its' main purpose.

Now that it's finally installed, this hood is sleek and good looking. It was a real task to install because it is heavy. It works quietly and the lights illuminate the entire cooktop.

Distance from Cooktop
If you have an 8' cieling, you will only be able to get about 30" between the cooktop and hood. If you want 36" distance, you have to buy a separate "short kit" for approx $120.00. The recommended distance is 30" to 36". Also, the finish around the corners is bad. We are deciding whether to return it to Home Depot. Working directly with Zline, has been okay, and they offered us a small discount if we keep it. They need to me it clear that 30" is all you will get with an 8' ceiling.

Excellent fan and customer support
Fantastic range hood and excellent customer service! We had it professionaly installed and it looked challenging, partially because we needed new ductwork since our old fan was an under cabinet fan. It's working really well and looks great in our space! FYI if you purchase the designer series fan, you do not need to purchase crown molding separately since it comes with the fan. This was unclear on the website, especially since it prompted me to add on the crown molding and the crown was not listed in the details/specifications. However, customer support was very helpful.

Beautiful Hood
This wooden wall mount range hood is more beautiful in person than in the picture. It exceeded my expectations. It was easy to install and it has been the centerpiece of attraction to everyone viewing our new kitchen.

Poor product
Bought this hood over a year ago. Fan sped indicator does not work. After waiting 8 mo and several emails they shippe another one for me to tear apart and attach. This one did not work either so now the sent me a control unit to replace myself. Fan is so loud you can hardly talk while it’s running

Beautiful Range Hood
This hood is even more beautiful in person than in pictures. I was concerned about shipping something like this without damage as I have had pretty poor luck in the past with other similar things. It was packaged so well that it would have taken effort to damage it. Instructions and installation were not complicated. The only thing I think could be better is the quality of the controls. The buttons are kind of loose and it's pretty basic. All things considered I would definitely recommend this product and I would buy it again.

The fan may be good but parts are trash.
So the provided mounting hardware does not work. The hood if 10.5 x 11 the mounting bracket is 10.25 x 11. Additionally all the parts are made for people that have 15 foot ceilings apparently. I have 10 foot ceilings but the brackets have to be cut and drilled. Not to mention the ss sorround has to be cut too to get the 30-36 inch max height. I would highly recommend going with a different brand and model.

Time consuming to install. Had to cut metal to make it fit that looks rough and wrinkled now. Finger prints from installation won’t come off even with dawn dish soap.

Broke within minutes. Customer Service is terrible
My contractor installed this hood, and within minutes the circuit board and the capacitor died. Z Line took weeks to send me parts with no instructions. Now I have to pay hundreds of dollars to have an electrician come out and fix a faulty product. Don't waste your money. Buy a better product with a real warranty
