Great bed topper. Highly recommend.

The topper arrived quickly. However it was downhill from there. First issue was that it did not cover my King bed. It was more like a Full size topper. Next, the topper never took shape or expanded. It was as flat as when it came out of the box. See the attached picture taken after 48 Stars. Possible defect in materials or manufacturing. Zero stars. Will be a headache to return.

These toppers are delivered in such a manner that to try to repackage them for return requires a steam roller and perhaps something on the lines of a hay baler. I did however purchase one, as it seemed an affordable alternative to replacing my old memory foam mattress, which when dismantled, resulted in several layers of egg crate style foam layers ( 2) with a 4 in memory topper, all zipped up in a nice heavy duty fabric cover. That being said, we replaced the old worn out mattress topper with this new one, and of course the proof is always in the pudding. We opened it up and unrolled it, and let it acclimate for 48 hours in the spare bedroom, where it aired out and its chemical smell did dissipate. We used it for several nights and while it did appear to provide some much needed relief and improvement to our current situation, it has now given up the ghost and appears to be weakening even just after 2 weeks of use. I quite frankly don't have the energy (or nerve) to return it to HD as it would at this point take the strength of 10 men to get it back in the box, so we will keep it, but with much trepidation. Could I recommend it ? possibly if it was on sale , as it was when I purchased it, but sadly, I cannot give it 2 thumbs up ( nor 5 stars) , as it seems to work initially but quickly turns out to be yet another mediocre mattress top and does not meet my expectations of wow, exemplary, and outta sight.

This was for use in the guest bedroom. The new mattress was way to hard, and this topper has transformed it.

Tried out a few different mattress pads before landing on this one! I was having a hard time sleeping on an old memory foam mattress that was just a little too firm and this memory pad provides just enough cushion to be comfortable while still being slightly firm. Ultimately we're going to have to get a new mattress but this is a great hold over!
