I will be honest, I was skeptical on how well Bob would do. I was impressed with how easy bob was to set up. I like to get familiar with my purchases. They give you all the tool you need to maintain bob as well. So I took the brushes off and put hem back on with ease. Bob works well on my hard wood floors as well as carpet. The personal remote control is a great tool and easy to use. The UV light Is a great feature. If bob hits an object with the bumper it’s never a problem. It just turns and continues to clean. I am so impressed with how bob does and how easy it is to use bob. Thank you Bobsweep, for making such a great product that anyone can use.

I love my Bobsweep! I received this as a Christmas gift last year and fell in love! Saves me time and energy and does a great job! Just wish the battery lasted even longer. I have a 2000 sq ft home and I use Bobsweep on half then charge and use on the other half. Customer service is excellent as well! The dust bin malfunctioned a few weeks ago and they quickly sent me a replacement free of charge! Would definitely recommend Bobsweep!

Last year I purchased a bObsweep PetHair Plus Robotic Vacuum Cleaner for my home. I am always amazed at how much cat hair this unit picks up. I usually lock "Bob" in a room and let him go at it. Each room seems clean, but then Bob picks up a pile of cat hair. I like to set him up room by room so I can see how much cat hair he finds even though the carpet already looks clean. I liked my Bob so much that I bought my daughter one and had it shipped back East. Not only was ordering easy, but their customer service department kept in contact with me throughout the ordering/shipping process to ensure all was well. These were personal emails not just auto emails. My daughter uses this Bob on hardwood floors to pick up dog and cat hair. It's an overall good product with a company with good customer service.

This is the best addition to my household ever!!!! I have had Bob for just over a year now and I am still very impressed by the amount of dirt/hair that he collects everyday. I have hardwood floors throughout my house and two golden retrievers. I have him programmed to clean every day. I work from home, so when he does get stuck I can just move him. I have found that the unit is easy to clean and I just have to remember to empty the bin. My original bin lid broke and I ordered another one with extra filters. I was so surprised when I got an email from customer service to say the bin was covered by the warranty, so I just had to pay for the filters. What fantastic customer service that is. I would highly recommend Bob.

Living with three large dogs that shed way too much hair I decided to purchase a robot vacuum. A friend of mine recommended bObsweep as they had just purchased one and were happy with the price and job it did cleaning. My bObsweep was actually purchased several years ago however my recent interaction with their customer service team is what motivated me to write this review. Initially I had him set to clean every other day but later changed his schedule to clean every day except Sunday (again my dogs shed way too much). Bob worked great and was able to keep my home clean of all that pet hair! Last summer I decided to do a little remodeling (sanding floors, moving walls) of my home and didn't need Bob to clean so into the closest he went. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and the remodeling is finished. I decided to take Bob out of retirement and put him back to work. Bob however did not like coming back to work (he wouldn't find his docking station and would only run for 15 minutes before dying). I contacted customer service and told them my problem not sure what they could/would do. I was blown away by Gabe and his customer service! Initially he walked me through resetting Bob which worked to fix the battery issue but not the docking issue. Unfortunately my Bob was out of his warranty period :-( but I had little to fear as Gabe in customer service was there to help! He was able to get me a new docking station at a discounted price. After receiving the docking station he walked me through the steps to connect it to Bob. Unfortunately the new docking station did not fix the issue. Again Gabe came through offering me a brand new Bob at a heavily discounted price!! Oh and on top of that refunded me for the docking station I just purchased. I received my new Bob yesterday and it works great!! Besides the product itself being awesome I was blown away with the customer service! They followed up every step of the way (literally emailing me before I would have to contact them) to ensure I had a working vacuum again. Know if you buy bObsweep not only will you get a great vacuum but unmatched customer service to go with it. bObsweep 10/10 Customer service 10/10

I have had bObsweep (I call him Bob) for about a month. We are still getting to know each other. Is Bob perfect? Absolutely not. Do I love Bob? You bet. He does an amazing job on my hardwood floors, rugs and carpets. I can’t believe how often I have to empty his bin and we don’t even have pets! As for customer service with bObsweep, unbelievable. I have never had such great customer service with any company. Would I recommend Bob? You bet!

I've had my bObsweep for about a year and a half in a house with two dogs. I run him every day and am still amazed with how much filth he finds around the house! The bObsweep customer service is spectacular as well. Recently, my battery died. I purchased another one off of their website and replaced it, but I needed to reach out to customer service because he still wasn't running. The rep gave me clear directions on how to reset his motherboard and he came right back on. Since I was still in warranty, they refunded my money! I inquired about my screen which was also slightly malfunctioning, and with no hesitation they sent me another one (free of charge) along with instructions on how to replace it myself. Overall, I recommend this vacuum 110%!!

I love my bObsweep! I have carpets and hard floors, and he does an amazing job on both. I especially love putting him under our bed. Oh my gosh he comes back with a bin full of the finest dust, yuck! (You need a bob for under your beds, trust me when I tell you it isn’t pretty. I vacuum him out with a shop vac and clean him up for the next time, we all need to be clean and bOb is no exception, I want bOb to last a long time! Customer service is wonderful as well. Six months into owning bOb he got sick. So I called the company and they had me box him back up ( yes do keep your box it makes it so much easier if he does get sick). Sent him off and got an email when he arrived and also updates. When he came home a week later( I think it was) there was a cute note with what they took care of an a treat for me for being patient while he was gone. Also, would love to share a funny story with you about Bob. When we got him my husband programmed him to take care of things while I was busy doing other stuff. Well, early one morning I left to go pick up food for the needy at church. It turned out my husband had programmed Bob the wrong time. When I came home I found Bob in the laundry room beeping. I texted my husband and said, Hey, I found Bob dead in the laundry room! Wasn’t more then a few seconds and the phone rang, it was my husband in a panic asking me, Bob who is dead? It was at that moment I realized I had forgotten to mention to my husband I named him Bob! We had a good laugh about it and share it with friends and family. Bob is worth every dime we spent for him. I am getting a second one for upstairs.

Neither my wife nor I are big on vacuuming, but we do like a clean home, and because of dust allergies, vacuuming is extra important to us. Still, we don't want to do it. Enter BOB! I bought the bObsweep several months ago and we use it regularly. In fact, we've not broken out our old vacuum cleaner since Bob arrived. Additionally, we've found we don't call in a housekeeper as often, so we broke even pretty quickly. But best of all, we walk in the door to clean carpets and floors and it immediately sets a positive tone. Sometimes it's the little things that make the big differences. Bob has definitely been one of those big little things for us. And on top of all this praise for a great product, the company's customer service is absolutely A+. I had one small issue and they were on top of it faster than I've ever seen a company respond, and that's saying a lot because I happen to coach companies on enhancing customer service strategies, but these guys have it down with excellence.

bObsweep is a great buy for the work office. We've been putting him to use constantly since day 1. It's shocking how much dust and debris he sucks up when we empty his bin. Customer service was a great help when his motor burned out. We aren't sure how it burned out, but we were grateful bObsweep warrantied the motor. I would recommend buying one to everyone and anyone, personal or work.

The Best gift I have ever given myself...I even gave one to my son (the PetSweep) and one to my co-worker. I just put it on "automatic" and leave the house -- I come home and the floors are done and Bob is charging in his "bed". I even use it on my kitchen tile floor with an attachment that I dampen and it does a pretty good job of dusting it up. If you are "on the fence" about getting Bob, go for it! You will not be sorry! I love him! It saves so much time and energy. Customer Service is WONDERFUL. Imagine calling and an actual human being answers the phone? And they are NICE and HELPFUL. I had a problem b/c I broke my dustbin and it became jammed in Bob. Dan from Customer Service walked me through removing the dustbin and sent me a new one. I just love Bob and the company who sells him. Ask for him as a Christmas gift.

I've had this vacuum for about a month and it is great. It's not too loud, which is good since I have neighbors downstairs. I have not had any issues with it getting stuck. I did test it out first and made sure Bob doesn't have issues moving around my apartment. I had to move a few things out of the way. Since then it runs on its own, on a regular schedule when I'm at work. Really saves me time on cleaning. It runs through the apartment 3 times a week; way more often than I would have vacuumed on my own. As a result, there is less dust. Additionally, since I cannot have things laying around on the floor (since Bob might chew something), my house looks much cleaner. The dustbin is huge, so you don't need to empty it out often. The main brush does have to be cleaned frequently, since long hair wraps around it and interferes with cleaning. That's the only downside common to all robotic vacuums. Other than that, it's great. You should get one.

Ol' Bob vacuums and sweeps very well, but the wife wasn't very impressed with his mopping prowess. Bob tends to get stuck under the cabinet overhang, as well. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

It worked great when it was brand new but after two months it kept getting stuck on things it had previously rolled over without issue. There were some places it refused to go as well, really really low pile carpet mats that made no sense to me. As robo vacuums go, I'd opt for something else.

We love bobsweep Robotic Vacuum cleaner. He keeps our floors shining.

It worked great for the first month or so and then it stopped. It gets stuck in places it didn't have a problem with before. We often come home to find it's stalled out somewhere and hasn't even cleaned much at all. Disheartening as I was really excited about it.

It doesnt return to the charger. Repeats clean in the same spots and misses entire sections of rooms

My first robot vacuum - had it for a week, ran all cycles a few times. Love that it's not black or white - live life in full color! We are a family of three long-haired women. I have a 1-story house with transition pieces between the wood & tile floors. Some low-shag area rugs. I remove all mats and now block some furniture legs with yoga mats when running it to prevent getting it stuck. Pros: - Great job on the chunks and the hairballs. Keeps the house in a ready-state-for-friends kind of clean. - Fits under so much of my furniture! Dressers, end tables, the bed, tried under the sofa, but can only go a bit then turns around. - Dust bin holds a lot. Got no warning of being full in first run and it was quite full after (90 min, whole house) - Can find it's base after cleaning if I start it from the base and guide it to a room with the remote - not by picking it up. No unresolvable issues so far with getting stuck or not getting over rug-edges or floor transitions. Cons: - Brush requires a screwdriver to remove to clean. With 3 people w/ long hair, the main brush fills with hair often. This makes it a 15 min job instead of 5-8. Would be better with a lock & latch. (my main vacuum is self-cleaning brush - a Shark!) - Cycles seem to be >25 min or 5 min. Spot clean cycles are just that - very small area, 5 min run. OK, but there isn't really a "just do the dining room" setting ( Like a 10'x10' room) - front side brush - it's totaled after a week of running into my furniture. At $10 a pop, I'm not into $520 a year + filters to run my vacuum. Going to look for alternatives or be better about spacing the furniture before a run. - "mop" is a wet dustrag. Works well on spot cycles for general wipe-down.

The auto setting seems to take a while to get the whole house. My puppy has seemed to acclimate to bObsweep and tolerates without running from it.

does not pick up anything. scratches furniture. all in all - no good and I waited too long to return it. DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to watch it and get it unstuck ...way too often. Seemed to be bumping around under furniture,or cornered and trying to get out... More of that.... than actually in the space of the room where it could be cleaning. Guess we need to empty the room for a good cleaning. Kind of fun to watch it.........

I bought this because it has a UV light and has an option for mopping. I read the ratings and many people state that it gets stuck on carpets. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem because I have all hard wood floors. I was wrong. It runs for about 2 hours and I have it programmed to run every day. I can’t just leave it go, I have to babysit every day for 2 hours because it gets stuck every single day. I even tried to Bob proof my house. It gets stuck on a think memory foam bath mat, can’t go over the ledge between the dining room and kitchen. It will go over the same area repeatedly and totally miss other areas. It does a good job cleaning the areas it covers. I empty the dust bin every week and it’s full.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and son in law. They loved the way it looked and wanted to keep it but it just had to many problems. It couldn't go over a half inch threshold without nudging it. It was too tall to go under ANY of the furniture and would get stuck under the edge of the kitchen cabinets. However, the biggest issue was that it would not accept any programming. Tried everything in the owners manual and nothing worked. A message to customer support took 5 days to respond. By that time we had given up on it and I returned it. I let them try out my deebot and it did great everyplace the bob failed, so deebot it is!

Didn’t work for the small apartment with laminate, rugs, and lots of furniture. Too tall to get under the toe hang under kitchen cabinets. Easy to set up.

It is easy to operate, the book is easy to follow and other than getting “stuck” a few times, works very well. Seem to get a lot of error 2 messages, which is not a bad thing, just annoying. Have not had a chance to use the mop part so cannot address that part. So far, I like it a lot and it works well.
