`It was necessary to return the item because the mounting brackets were not included in the package.

The shade works, it seems quality materials but it is poorly manufactured. First the measuring recommendations are spot on but it doesnt say that it has 3/4 of an inch gap on each side - which makes this unsuitable for inside mounting. Since I can see the interior pipe it is as if they cut the shade too narrow. Second, the roll rubs against the back of the frame and makes a loud scraping noise. Third, the rolling up is very fast (and loud) until about 12 inches, then super slow - it takes a few minutes for it to completely roll (weird). It comes with a plastic clear pull that fell off on the first use and every time we put it back so it is staying off. The ones available in the store are better.

Incredibly easy to install! They are total blackout. However, a good bit of light leaks from the sides. I paired the shade with some blackout curtains and put a long piece of foamcore board to catch the light leak at the top. With all of those measure, it’s totally dark in my room during the day, but I have the ability to have a lot of light during the day.

I am very happy with these blinds. They fit inside my windows nicely. They were easy to install and work well. My windows measured 35.5 and that's the size I ordered. The blinds are of a good quality. No problems with pin holes that other reviewers complained of. One of the 2 blinds I ordered makes a little squeal when it's raised, but it's not a problem.

Love these shades! Replaced some day and night shades in my camper and they are really dark and really easy to use!

Having trouble retracting shade

I took my own measurements and someone who’s not professional installed for me so far no problem.

Was hoping it would block more light on the side. Had to buy some tape to hold the shade against the window sides. Otherwise it was great.

They fit beautifully in my windows and have added a great look. They are complete blackout and has already saved us money on cooling costs! I would definitely recommend these.

Best money ever spent ! The instructions were simple and easy to follow - we installed them in every room. Our home is much cooler now.

I was nervous to order sight unseen, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these, since custom shades are priced 3-5 times as much. They are thick, edges don't curl, and not plastic-looking. Roller feels solid. I used without cutting, so can't comment on that. Installed them myself with EZAnchors and no drill - and I'm not the handiest person. Blackout is correct. Mounted outside the window, you can only see sliver of light around the edges. If this is a problem, would need to be solved another way (drapes, valence, etc.) Certainly plenty dark enough to accidentally sleep til noon, even with the sun beating down!

The blackout blinds had holes in them and were different lengths.
