Our little robot amazingly thorough at cleaning, particularly in corners, under furniture, pet dander, etc. Love the sounds it makes to indicate status. Love the signage to facilitate maintenance - example the different brushes have visual cues to help identify which brush goes where. Though, please (1) find a way for larger dustbin to decrease clean out times; (2) helpful to have visual cues on both the base and on robot to "connect the dots" aligning connectivity to facilitate charging.

I Purchased this Roomba about a week ago and I’ve already got 27 hours worth of cleaning on it. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t purchase one of these sooner. I love my angry assistant. I’m a private housekeeper so I take it to every job that I go to and it makes cleaning floors a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a surprisingly fantastic job in my space. Requires a little oversight to make sure it can't get caught on a cable or shoelace. Handles animal fur well for the most part. Made an awful noise win the brush arm got wound up in various hair and I had to clean that but otherwise ditching the dyson!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is amazing! We have gone through several other vacuums and this IRobot Roombs e5 makes my floors the cleanest they have ever been. It is super easy to set up and use and will pick up dirt on your floor that you didn't even know was hiding there. I have used it so far on carpet and tile and it leaves both amazingly clean. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for an easy way to keep their floors clean. After you set it up this vacuum does all the work for you. It is very quiet and I have had no problems with it missing areas or getting clogged. I was given this product to review but would buy one for my busy household. Although I was familiar with Irobot I was not aware this particular model existed before I was given one to review. After using this vacuum for a week my floors are cleaner than they have been in years!

Only got two full charge cleanings out of it before it stopped working.
Definitely would not recommend this unit. Most likely would not get any type of unit like this. Will stick to the traditional vacuum cleaner.

I got it brand new 2 days ago and charged it all night. It started according to its schedule yesterday. at the 1 hour mark i looked at my phone and it said it was returning home despite the fact that it had barely covered 500-600 sq ft. I kept watching to see what it would do and it never made an attempt to return. It just kept on wandering around and finally it just died in the middle of the room. i called the help-less desk and they have no clue. today I started it up after charging for 24 hours and let it go and the told it to go home via my ph app. It would not go home. IT IS OBVIOUSLY defective. DON'T BUY THIS TOY. IT DOESN'T WORK

We can understand the frustration with your robot not returning to the base on a single charge. The Roomba e5 is a model that will clean a directed area for up to 75 minutes (on hard surfaces). Roomba registers Dirt Detect events using it's incredibly intelligent design, making over 60 decisions a second! With more scheduled cleaning, Roomba will establish a baseline of clean and register fewer Dirt Detect events. At this point, Roomba should be able to clean more of your home on a single charge and return to the base. Roomba does attempt to clean on its way back to the base. This model doesn’t cover the entire area, doesn’t teturn to the dock, and the battery life does bot last for 90 minutes. I will be returning.
