I was hesitant that I would be able to fill a 1/2" diameter hole in my floor, but this kit really did the trick. My "artwork" doesn't look as great as the demo video, but it still blends in well with the floor and looks like it will hold up against everyday wear-and-tear. I'm going to try it on my bookcase next!

I put a chip in my luxury laminate flooring, I repaired it and I can not tell where it is at! You have to mix the color to match your flooring and it was easy. I am no artist but I kept trying different mixes. I have a grey, black, white, and dark brown mix in my floor and i mixed white, black and the dark brown together. My husband doesn't even know I chipped the floor! Great product and I definitely will keep it on hand!

My husband dropped a tool and put a large gouge in our customer's wood floor. She was very picky and we thought she would make us replace the floor. I bought this kit and repaired the floor, blending the colors to match the grain. Our customer could not even find where we had done the repair and was happy to accept the job.

Very easy to use. I wouldn’t say the result is as perfect as some have led me to believe, but that may just be my skills at finishing the gloss. Overall, I am very happy.

After watching the video I purchased this product. It works great. After my repair iyou cannot see it unless you get down on the floor close to the repair spot. Easy to use and do not rush your repair, take your time and follow the instructions.

This kit worked great. It did not disappear but certainly made the large scratch less noticeable. Take your time and match up the colors as best as you can by combining. Filler is VERY forgiving so feel free to combine as needed.

I wanted to like this repair kit and I really wanted to use it on my wood floors to repair small dents and whatnot. But...I had a real problem getting the filler to level out AND the polyurethane final coating clouded badly and turned all my hard work into a disaster. After researching on the Internet, I found out that putting a water-based polyurethane over an oil-based polyurethane caused the milky cloud. So, it took some doing but I removed it and now I have a section of my Brazilian tigerwood floor with a spot that the original finish has been rubbed off. So, at present, I am having to sand the entire board and refinish it with an oil-based polyurethane. Had I known this, I never would have applied the final coat that was included in the kit.

      Exceeded expectations
This kit is amazing! Repair to large hole in blonde laminate so blended I hard time finding it for final step! Took a little getting used to the process but once I did I found it actually quite fun. Take time to read through all steps before beginning and start with a smaller or inconspicuous area if you can just to get the hang of it without any pressure. Well worth the money, repairs only take a tiny amount of wax so kit will last a long time. My floors look new again. Very happy!

Excellent results for small scratches, can take a little while to match colors but the wait is worth it. I have never used this product before and when the job was completed even I had difficulty finding the original mark.

Great solution to any problem with laminate or engineered flooring. Easy to use, worked the first time!!! The ability to create any color needed with the appropriate sheen is a true advantage over the competition.

        Worked great!
We had a few boards that cracked in a new floor we laid. I purchased this kit and thought I'd give it a try before I went thru the process of replacing them. This kit worked great! It was fast and easy to match the color of the floor. The cracks were virtually invisible. Highly recommend

          Great
Great product. It takes some practice and patience, but the results are outstanding. I used some extra flooring to test the process on before going after the real thing. I would recommend this step to everyone.

Best wood repair kit I have found
Just used this product for the first time for several scratches/gouges on a wood floor. As others have stated, it takes some practice and patience to get it right but the results are excellent. Not a perfect match but much better than before. It is not cheap but it's worth it. I only used about 10% of the material and so I can use the kit for future repairs.

Great choice for FIY at a reasonalbe cost and you will always be able to do it in the future at no further cost
Requires practice to get down to a science but once you do you can make your repair unnoticeable. Well worth it.

              Worth the money
I chipped a piece of tile on my new shower installation. Watched the UTube video of the directions for use with this product. It was so easy to use. I had the repair made within five minutes. Caution when repairing tile on wall place something on the floor as it does drip. Drip on wall and tile pan. I was able to clean up. I would use this again.

              Unbelievable!!! Excellent investment!
I was skeptical, but gave it a shot. Literally could not find the repair to show the wife. Took my time and blended with wood grain. Tried it on a piece of antique furniture...same results. Cannot tell where repair was made. Pricey, but very well worth the cost.

                No more hole in floor
I had a hole that appeared in our Pergo floor after we had some remodeling done. I watched this kit being used on YouTube and decided to buy one. I received the kit very fast from Home Depot. I found the kit very easy to use. My wife was very pleased with the job I had done. So that alone makes it well worth the money.

                Just what I needed...
Had a few spots of damage from workers in my kitchen..chips in the ceramic floor even 2" pieces, so I decided to try this. It works great. You can hardly tell where the repairs were made. It was a little expensive. If you are only doing 1 or 2 tiles, cheaper to replace them, but I had about 10 spots that needed to be touched up. Little expensive and I had to order it first and have it shipped because Home Depot didn't carry it in the store. You can see how it works on youtube.com too which is why I bought it. You get everything you need to finish the job in the box.

The only repair kit to use on a laminate floor is the Picobello Flooring Repair Kit
This is the Picobello Flooring Repair Kit. In short, it is a wax-based/sealant product that allows a laminate floor owner to restore to near-perfection the look of their wood-laminate flooring. The kit comes with a variety of small wax "bricks," each in a different color or shade. In addition, a battery-operated melting iron is provided so that a variety of shades or colors can be melted onto its tip and then placed into and over the defective marring of the laminate floor. A few extremely easy to use and very clever tools are included in order to permit leveling and finishing the defective area. Finally, an acrylic sealant pen is provided so that, once the area is set and dry, it can be sealed over the wax. (This actually provides two levels of moisture protection; the first being the wax-based coloring, since the wax will repel liquids, and the second being the acrylic seal). The kit provides a very easy, four step process for repair: (1) choose a minimum of three shades or colors of wax; (2) melt a little bit of each color onto the edge of the melting tool; (3) place the unmixed conglomeration of waxes into the the damaged area - and continue until you are happy and the previously damaged area now blends with the surrounding undamaged laminate (natural wood looks like this - a relatively unmixed conglomerate of shades and colors, each blending to the next); and (4) once you are satisfied with the look, use the finishing tools to level it off, clean off excess surrounding materials and then seal it with the acrylic! I am no artist and frankly, I prefer hard wood to laminate flooring. Laminate merely provides a "picture" of actual wood on a highly compressed non-wood substrate. Unfortunately, where my laminate is installed, hard wood is not feasible. (It is over a concrete slab, which would have required building a sub-floor structure first and then installing the real wood over that. This would have raised the floor by several inches and we couldn't do it given the expense, not to mention that architecturally, that area of my house makes building a sub-floor next to impossible. But every one should already know that with real wood, a dent or divit can be fixed by sanding and refinishing. With laminate, once it suffers a divit, all that can be seen is an otherwise pristine picture of the original "wood" and an ugly white gash - which is really the substrate exposed to the eye. To make matters worse, that substrate is nothing more than highly compressed saw dust. Some call it MDF. The point? That's the part of a laminate floor that, when exposed to moisture, badly warps the floor! And that is why I dislike laminate. That said, laminate can last for years and years, if it is properly taken care of. And that is why Picobello Flooring Repair Kit wins out over the rest of the kits on the market. There are many repair solutions. If interested, you can find samples of the repair processing for most of these kits on YouTube videos. Picobello is available for viewing there, too. Here is Picobello's defining characteristic: it enables you to use multiple colors and shades of colors instead of a one-color-fits-all filler. Picobello even has a more expensive kit that has an even wider variety of colors and shades to use. There are cheaper fixes that are not made by Picobello. But why use them? You will see the repair with those lesser products. As for me, my laminate floor was laid only weeks prior to someone falling backwards in their chair onto the laminate flooring. The contact between the chair and the laminate surface tore right through the laminate surface. Boy, did that feel like a nightmare! I'd best believe that I spent an inordinate amount of time searching for a repair kit before deciding on the Picobello. I am no artisan and the last thing I wanted was to choose a repair method that was too difficult for me or perhaps worse, would look terrible and couldn't be undone without further damage to laminate. I wish that I had my own video of the before damage, the process of repair, and the final product: a whopping twenty to thirty minute episode, and that was my first experience with the product. Find the Picobello website and view their repair video. My repair truly looks as flawless as that. Better yet, no one can tell the floor was ever damaged. In fact, I cannot see it myself unless I am really looking for it. Buy this kit if you are looking to repair your expensive laminate flooring. You will be very happy with the result and your laminate floors will last for years more to come.

This was the best fix for the floor without replacing the section of flooring which would of cost a lot more.
