Tornado Alert is very easy to set up and operate. So far it has done what is says it will do. Have not tested during a tornado. Hope I never have to!

So far, display indicates “NOISE” most of the time. Have repositioned unit a couple of times with no benefit. Will keep trying to find the perfect location; really want it to work.

Overall works well, just no way to adjust the volume! It has the strobe and siren, and siren can be annoying when going off continuously.

Loved the 1st one I bought because it was very accurate. New one doesn’t light up to show the words. Flashlight needed to read warnings.

Could not get unit to operate properly on AC. Unit worked properly on battery power but returned unit , I just did not want to keep pumping 9 volt batteries into it every other day.

I say yes because it is still unknown. During a recent radar indicated tornado that remained in the air, and did not touch down, the radio remained on "not severe." further testing of the product is needed.

Had a tornado come within 20 miles of us and the alarm went off. Later that evening, it picked up a severe thunderstorm as well.

I am very pleased with this device. Well built and works as advertised.

Unit fired up and adjusted rapidly. Good to know I am warned for those sudden storms that pop up before the weather alert radio is activated by the weather service.

Luckily I haven’t had the need for this to alert yet! During the set up process the strobe and alarm tested and were bright and extremely loud. I am certain that my entire neighborhood will be alerted by this device during a severe weather event.

Plug and play setup. Instructions were clear and worked the first night when we had thunderstorms.

The tornado alert unit does a simple but important job well. We have two of them so there we won't miss an alert in the house or the barn.

Great technology that's more accurate than wearher radios. Only issue was how long it took Home Depot to ship it

This is a neat little unit, mostly it shows me (but doesn't alarm) when a thunderstorm is coming when it's still clear blue skies outside. I don't want a tornado near me, but I'm kinda interested in seeing it alarm.

The tornadoAlert was easy to set up and has already accurately detected approaching severe weather and lightning. It was at least 10 minutes ahead of local TV warnings. I especially like that it updates the distance of approaching danger every 60 seconds.
