      Answer This Question

“One 10.1 oz. cartridge will yield 24 linear feet of sealant in a 1/4” bead. 29 oz. cartridge yields 70 linear feet” Guessing you’ll need 6 for your joint that is 3x wider than the manufacturer’s example in quotes.

This sealant applies very easily. I used 12 tubes and only had 1 tube that the beginning was a little off on the color. Set up time is minimal. It has been down for 3-4 weeks and looks great. The self-leveling is awesome. I used a tube every 12-15 feet. Very happy with product overall.

Yep it sure does what its supposed to do and fill those gaps before caulk

Good product, I used to fill gaps between 1x8 subfloor boards before mortaring down cement board
This has many uses. I used it to fill in the gaps between diagonal 1x8 subfloor boards in a 1950’s house renovation before mortaring down cement board in the bathrooms. It prevented mortar from falling through the gaps and into the basement. I used a few different diameters of this stuff. Pictures below are before stuffing the gaps with backer rod.

I have bought over 1k in this product The issues that I’m having is some of the tubes have dried out and I’m not getting what I paid for. Also I had a full case of 12 tubes that would not cure properly. I had a heck of a time cleaning that mess up and replacing it with new sealer. The product is not getting rotated as per what the manufacturer asked Home Depot to do.

Preparation is key. Up to 5 of use did this at any one time. We used masking tape for rough surfaces to line the cracks so control overflow and get a crisp finish. I made sure to sweep first so it would stick, and then followed with shop vacuuming the cracks. A person used a small paint brush to smooth down the Silka once squeezed in. A full 24 hours later I removed the taped and this is the finished. It's been a month and the weights of the many cars's tires have pushed the sealant into place and it's now it's own shade of gray. The is exactly the result I wanted. Using any other product that requires you to spray and set was a no go for me.

I purchased this product to seal separations in my driveway expansion joints. This self leveling product sunk deeply and formed a solid, rubberized, waterproof seal. For a reference, it took 4 of these tubes to fill 78 ft of joints. That is cutting off about 1/2 inch of the tip for an opening. This stuff flows out very fast and has the consistency of syrup, so be prepared. Overall, This is great stuff and I HIGHLY recommend it, if your expansion joints are cracked.

First time user - I’m impressed!
I’m so impressed with this product. I highly recommend taking your time. Be careful not to get on the concrete around because it will stain it a little. Had to fill a 1.5 inch wide gap in the sidewalk. I used some River rock and also filled in using some concrete mix the day before as a gap gasket. As you can see from the photo it turned out great!
