Yes, the two are compatible.
Can this downspout also be used horizontally? Like laying flat against the ground, to route the water as far away from the home's foundation as possible? Or if that is a different type of pipe segment I've described, what is the name of that product?
This product is not recommend for horizontal application. We would recommend a Flex Drain Downspout Adapter (model#ADP53102) and our solid Flex-Drain pipe (model#52110D).
What type of fastener should be used to secure this to aluminum siding?
We would recommend a #8-1/2" rust resistant sheet metal screw.
What screw do I use to attach the strap to vinyl siding? I bought a package of gutter screws, are they too short?
We recommend a screw length of 1-1/2".
