Will the delta shower doors available at Home depot fit on this shower base
Thank you for your interest in Craft + Main shower bases. Shower door sizing is dependent on final finished wall to wall opening and that dimension will be affected by your choices of backer board and wall covering (shower wall system, tile, etc.). Five foot showers are one of the most popular sizes these days, so your local Home Depot store should have multiple options for youu,r regardless of where your final opening size lands. For these reasons, this question would be better answered by the pros at your local Home Depot store... once you know your final finsihed opening.
I do t understand the dimensions. An answer states: 5 panel wall system 60 x 32- 2 side panels and 3 back panels. It will come with corner and edge trim. Thank you, FGI Customer S Bit the specifications say different. What are the dimensions of each?
We are very sorry for the confusion. Older, conflicting answers have been corrected or removed. This kit is 60" wide by 36" deep and does not include the optional trim pieces. If you wish to order trim pieces pelase contact our customer support team at 888-620-3667 or email customerservice.us@fgi-industries.com. The kit consists of three 20" panels that lock together forming a single, water-tight 60" surface across the back wall and two 36" panels for the ends of the shower. The panels can be cut down as needed to fit a smaller application. (Note: Do all cut-downs on the outer ends of the back wall to ensure a watertight finish)
Can this be installed over existing drywall?
Thank you for your interest in Jetcoat. Jetcoat can be installed over a number of backer materials including drywall. For any wet installation, it is best to use mold resistant (green) drywall, but regular drywall will work as long as the surface is smooth and flat and has been properly prepared as described in the installation manual.
My alcove shower space is 54" wide. Can I cut 3" off of #1 and #3 back wall panels to make them fit the 54" back wall?

How thick is the product?
Thank you for your interest in Jetcoat. Jetcoat wall panels are 5/32 inch thick. This may not seem like much from a stability standpoint, but the product is designed to be glued mold-resistant drywall or other backer board with construction adhesive. Once the adhesive is fully cured (24 -48 hours), the material is extremely durable and solid while maintaining a low profile appearance.
If not used in an alcove, how do I finish the edges?
Thank you for your interest in Jetcoat. We do not offer edge trim for this kit. If you feel the installation does not look finished, we recommend a bead of caulk along the edges.
What do the 5 pieces actually consist of? 3 walls? Drain pan?
Thank you for yoru interest in JETCOAT. This is a 60 x 36 wall system designed to cover one long wall (back) and 2 short walls (ends). It does not include a base. The back wall consists of three 20 inch panels that lock together to form a single water-tight surface.
