About This Product
HOME-FLEX Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing or CSST is great for installation of gas appliances. CSST easily snakes into attic and basements areas, around corners and bends, and through walls. Much easier to work than steel pipe, uses fewer fittings, and weighs a lot less too. Certification through manufacturer is recommended before installing CSST.

- CSST is generally for indoor use; however, it can be used outdoors and/or underground with very specific parameters. - Not to be used with Home Flex UNDERGROUND fittings.
- CSST tubing operating pressure: 25psi (max 125psi). Operating temperature range: -20f to +200f. Stainless steel melting temperature: 2400f.
- HOME-FLEX Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) flexible gas piping material must be installed by a qualified installer who has been certified in the use of the HOME-FLEX gas piping system. Certification can be completed by reading the System Design and Installation Manual and registering with Valencia Pipe Company to obtain a qualified installer card. Register at homeflex.com; "Get Certified" option.
- Some areas of the United States do not allow installation of CSST for fuel gas piping systems. It is the installer's responsibility to check and understand all codes governing the location of installation prior to installing HOME-FLEX CSST. Can I use to connect my furnace
Hi, Gg1234 - CSST may be connected to fixed appliance (such as a furnace). Connecting to a movable appliance (like a slide-in range) is prohibited. Please see our HOME-FLEX design & installation manual at homeflex.com/resources.
How many psi dose this support
Hi, Timmy - Per the specs on the hd.com webpage, max working pressure is 25 psi, well above normal pressures of 1/4 psi (NG) and 1/2 psi (LP). Thanks.
Can this be connected to a 100lb propane tank with the standard fittings on the tank?

Is this product work with the tankless hot water heater
Certainly. Be sure to select the appropriate size CSST for your entire installation. Generally speaking, tankless water heaters use considerably more gas than a traditional water heater and you'll want to make sure you have enough for all appliances drawing off the same source.
